In the UK, for safety reasons, we use a leader or main line straight through, of 10lb for every ounce of sinker weight. This prevents snap offs. So a 3 Oz weight would require a 30lb, leader, or line.
Thanks for watching and your info. I use 15lb test flouro ...sometimes 20lb. So 2 ounces puts me on the ballpark with 20lb test. Good to know. Tight lines !.
