Thanks for watching! I had the same.issue. I switched to the high low rig and made the hook loops shorter. I go as short as possible to allow the hook loops to go around the hooks. If I tangle,.I know to make the loops a little shorter. Good idea for a tutorial video. Tight lines!
I owned the water wolf years ago. It was the kind that you had to buy the sd card. The strikevu has the sd card sealed in the unit. I was happy with the waterwolf until I snagged and lost it 😢
I noticed that too. Good idea. I'm going to the coast to beat the Portland heat tomorrow. I will try putting the sandworms on backward ..I also noticed the hooks were a bit big for those perch they were size 2. I'm going to switch to size 4. See you on the water !
Thank you for watching our channel! I use many baits such as sand fleas, clam and clam necks. For beginners Id recommend Gulp Sandworms As for the rig I prefer the "high low" set up I use 20lb braid with a 15lb leader. I go deep on my set up on this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--kZuT14fkew.htmlfeature=shared Hope the link works
Hi. Thanks for watching and for your note. Not much shore fishing for Ling Cod near Seaside you could go north to Astoria and fish off the jetty or south to Rockaway and check out Bar View Jetty.
@@Tesslabeachfishing cool I appreciate you getting back to me I lived in WA for 12 year's then move back south but I have missed the West coast so much I decided to move back. I just bought a small place in seaside so as soon as I get settle I plan on getting back into fishing and hunting thank you for a wonderful video. Maybe we could meet up sometime
It was great randomly running into you yesterday on the beach in Seaside. Appreciate your kindness and sharing those Gulps with me. I can't wait to start surf casting and you inspired me to make my rod purchase and gear today. Subbed to your channel! Cheers and I'm sure I'll run into you again now that we live out here in Seaside!
Thanks for watching and subscribing! It is always a huge compliment to meet people on the beach and on the water who found inspiration in our videos to go out and start fishing! It motivates us to continue making videos. Hopefully our videos will shorten your learning curve so you can catch lots of fish! Look for the high tide. If you don't hook up after 10 mins, move to a new spot. Once you find a school, it will be fast action...but save some fish for me! 🐠😁... See you on the water!
@@fishinfrenzyoutdoors yes for perch. Fish down by Mores restaurant ll, lots of structure these. You have stay 1000 feet from haystack rock. I ha e not crabbed at cannon yet. ...now I want to try 😁
We used to fish sturgeon all the time as a kid. Back than a keeper had to be 42-58 inches for a keeper. Great eating. But apparently they are a pre astoric animal, and can grow to 80+ feet. Obviously you cant bring one of them into the boat. One of the best eating fish, next to halibet.
@@abdullahalharthi2429 the first fish was a salmon, the second fish was a walleye, third fish was a Large Mouth Bass. All very popular sport fish in the western USA
