As someone who is currently learning Google Ads, these videos have been tremendously helpful and insightful. They've made the learning process much easier to follow and understand.
Thanks Aaron, I completely agree with all you said, tested it in September/October and unfortunately it hasn't gone well as the tracking is ancient and takes time to update so success wasn't there. I'll probably try again in January as significant changes were made. The goal of the Demand Gen being primarily Brand Awareness.
Finally you talking about the big white elephant in the room 😅, I got mixed results , good traffic and convertions in the learning phase and bad convertions and high traffic (expend the money too much like a crazy) on the ready to serve phase , I really don’t understand how it works , I tried it in 3 different busines with different fields and industries , e-commerce , services and hibrid, and I got the same results that I said before , however nobody know yet what’s the results in the long term 😊
Yep agree and that’s why I won’t be pushing large amounts of money into these campaigns until we see more data as it is also likely that Google is still rolling out further updates post launch (similar to PMax). I never hugely used Discovery campaigns anyway so unsure where this will fit throughout the coming years. I think I will still be testing this for another 6-12 months before I have any level of confidence to give solid recommendations
Yes, you can include a Data Feed in Dynamic Search Ads (DSA) campaigns to dynamically generate ad headlines and landing pages based on your website content. For a step-by-step guide, contact me, and I'll walk you through the process.
Nice Video! I set it on conversions (it from mobile apps) and the error occurs conversion for websites are missing. But I dont want them, since it are ads for mobile apps (which I import from adjust, it works for a install campaign) hope you can help.
In many video's you talk about only starting a performance max campaign if you have over 30 conversions in 30 days. We sell a higher priced product that if we make 5 conversions a month we are very happy. Any thoughts about when to start a performance max campaign in that case?
For higher-priced products with fewer conversions, focus on quality over quantity. Start a Performance Max campaign when you see consistent positive results, even if it's fewer conversions. Let's discuss your specific scenario for a tailored strategy. Feel free to reach out.
Maybe somebody can help me with explaining this - i ran Demand Gen Campaigns for my client, we achieved 12k clicks, but Google Analytics shows 46 sessions 💀 Links are working, tracking is working and i just dont understand why there is such a big data difference?
That's a significant data disparity. Possible reasons could include tracking issues or discrepancies in how clicks and sessions are measured. Let's troubleshoot together. Reach out, and we can delve into the specifics to identify and resolve the discrepancy.
