Sweetie, I think you might need a cork circle with you terracotta saucer. Terracotta alone will stain your flooring. I learned the hard way☹️

I love your new office and reading nook, Fern! You have inspired me to decorate my bedroom. Those cheap dimmable grow lights are the best. I also use them for propagating and they work great. Also that little cube pattern cabinet is sooo beautiful.

Love the office set up. Love the reading nook which looks super relaxing. And love the prop shelf too. I also recently moved all my props into one area and I am enjoying them so much more. I find that I check on them more often to see their growth with everything all in one spot. The only thing that might be cute to add is a small area rug. I don’t know how well it would work to maneuver the computer chair if it’s a thicker or fluffy rug but even a carpet with a smaller profile but cute pattern on it might work well :)

I feel like a dark and moody paint colour would look so good in this room, like a dark rich green. And then, having your wally grown of lemon lime contrasting with the dark walls would look so good. It would make the cozy vibes even more cozy. You could also find a cute planty stained glass hanging piece for the window, or to go with the spooky vibes that you like a cute ghost stained glass window hanging would look super cute too!!

Recommend sheep skin rug for the office I got a large one for the middle of my bedroom floor and a throw rug size for each side of our bed. My husband thought I lost my mind!And now my manly husband loves rolling out of bed and having his feet hit the fur every morning!

Hello Fern. I've been watching your content for awhile. I love your plants and new home too! If you turn your desk so that you are situated in the corner, opposite from the door so that you are facing the door, that would put you in a position of power in the room. According to fung shui, it should make you feel safer and help you to be more productive. Just a suggestion ✨🌿💚🌿✨

Damn Fern, I don't know if you changed your make-up but you look so good, just angelic. Standing desks are great and I love the look of this one. I've always ever seen people have all white standing desks and I don't like white furniture so I'm happy to see they're not all white. I always liked your previous desk. Love the new office! More wall art and a rug would definitely add to the cozy vibes! I think one or two warm toned non plant lights could also add a lot to the space - like maybe an upgraded overhead light or a small lamp on your desk near the prop shelf and one on the side table in the reading nook. I feel like a tall draceana could look great where the credenza is!

I thought of that too!! the ceilings are high though so I don't think it would work 😭 I think you can maybe get an extender for higher ceilings though and mounting to the wall is an option, so I will have to look into it for the future!

Amazing transformation the best one. Is always good starting with a fresh empty room to design the layout. I prefer the wooden top instead of the whole desk that is made of metal steels ones from Ikea. Does it come in white too with the wooden top? The corner sofa seat we have one too from the old home from Ikea our one is. I like having more storage with desk drawers both side of the table. Also i like the billy bookshelf’s from Ikea with and without doors.

Only idea is that the planty corner would need a mat/rug/ or small table situation because I think it will and could cause probs for the floor ....just sayin.....but love it otherwise.
