Unboxing videos are great, but I particularly looove yours. The genuine joy you radiate, and the anticipation and the excitement... it makes these videos so special 💛 it's about way much more than just "getting a new plant", and that's amazing

@@kabajakla It's called Tropics' Narcotics and the shirt is "Traditional Plant Queen Unisex T-Shirt". They ship worldwide from Slovenia, Europe. It took 23 days to get to me in the USA, which I felt was an unusual long time, but they were very responsive and kept in touch while the shirt was in transit and even after I received it to make sure it fit and I liked it.

Honestly looked at plant haven Toronto’s website when they had their restock and so many plants where tempting. Legit waited a whole day and then caved😂. Ended up getting my first variegated Alocasia (frydek) and some wishlist Hoya.

I have a Sc. Blue. I got a gifted unrooted cutting from a FB seller about 2 1/2 years ago. It refused to root for almost 2 years. It didn't decline but didn't grow and I had it in water for so long then moved it to perlite and it rooted...finally! Now it just gave me its third leaf but it still very tiny. I'm just glad I never have up on it. Enjoy!

O.M.G. That variegated micans!!!!!!! That is the most insanely perfect and beautiful plant!!! I have a blue scindapsus (or at least it was sold to me as such) and other than it being thirsty, it’s an easy going plant. I put it in my regular chunky mix in a terracotta pot but it dried out so quickly. I have committed the planty sin and changed it to a ceramic pot without drainage 😬! I’ll post a pic of it in your discord :)

@@wildfernhonestly, I just took it out of the cabinet, and I keep on top of watering. The latest leaf (and especially the petiole) is perfect _except_ for efn. If I keep up on watering, I can keep up with efn. They have such thin roots. I don't think they can dry out like other philos.

Cool unboxing video. Really loved the leaf pattern of that first Hoya Splash variety. The variegated Micans was stunning. With temps currently at 107°F today...no way I would dream of ordering anything through the mail right now.
