It's amazing how Summer got better after dating him. Honestly, she was super annoying in the beggining. She is definitely the kind of character that grows on you and you don't even realizes it cause it feels so natural...amazing writing on her. Seth was likeable from the start, but her...a very good surprise.
That's how Julie was for me. When the show started, I'd watch bits and pieces, until the mid/end of Season 1. Summer wasn't too bad (from what I saw), but Julie was a shameless cougar and gold digger. By the end, she was one of my favorite characters on the show, as Melinda Clarke made me care more about her.
@@Joe_Parmesan Summer annoyed me lol. I know that's not true for everyone, some people loved her since the beggining, not me though. But Julie definitely had one of the best endings in the show, till the last season there were still some things i didn't like about her but overwall i think...she was one of the characters that really changed for the better in the end.
summer was originally meant to be marissas mean friend and only be in a couple of episodes, but then the producers and writers liked rachel bilson and caught the chemistry her and adam brody had in the pilot so they casted her full time and wrote a full character and thank god for it, she far surpassed marissa character and thats part of the initial tension that was rumored between rachel and mischa
@@TheCrankyTechnician Nah, season 2 can't compare to season 1. The story lines were iffy and not as intriguing as season 1. They tried to do too much and tried to top season 1 but it didn't work so well. I think they tried to pack too much in season 2. Perhaps the writers should've developed some of the story lines slower and extend them into season 3.
It’s actually crazy how good of an actor Adam Brody is. The OC definitely launched his career into the stratosphere but I often wonder what his movie career would have been like if he left the show around S3 or 4.
They really said let’s pretend Seth is not cute af- like she really acted like she kissed Jabba the Hut (which is funny cause she married darth vader irl AYY) instead of the certified HUNK that is Adam Brody like only in California could fit men with gorgeous faces and curly hair pass for nerds they do NOT look like that where I’m from lmao
Honestly, Stiles never got the time and development that Seth and Summer did. Something I'm really not fond of. But Dylan O Brian's stiles definitely has a lot of mannerisms common with Seth. Something I always found hilarious since I used to watch reruns of The OC and Teen Wolf on TV at the same time.
@@scoutyscout For me he was the best character on the showed. Stiles is honestly the biggest reason I watched the show to it's end. It's truly a tragedy that stiles was barely in the last season. Or the second half of the last season.
@@scoutyscout That was definitely the best part about his character. That he was relatable. Not just because he was human. But because he was the only one who seemed to have an appropriate reaction to all of the absurdity around him. Also he was funny as hell.
It was refreshing. Although the creator says he regrets not exploring the core four dating each other because it would have opened up more dynamics but I’m glad they didn’t go that direction.
Best thing his family ever did was taking in Ryan whose body language I tried to emulate when I was 13. Although he was one of the worst dressed of all time
@@butterflyunicorn3499At the start, Seth is obsessed with Summer in spite of the fact that she’s rude to him, ashamed of her attraction towards him, and uses him for gratification. Only later as he gains some confidence does their relationship become…healthier? 🤣
@@robynology101 I still wouldn't say abusive. 😅😅 I'm sure we all have had awkward phases of liking or heck being in a relationship with someone who treats us like crap. Or someone had a crush on you and thought you are playing to get when in fact you don't like them at all
@@butterflyunicorn3499 first, I did say “low key” as a qualifier. Don’t know if you caught that. And if someone is being treated like crap (especially over and over for years)- yes, babe, that is what I’d call abuse. I don’t care how much you like somebody because of how great you think they are, that’s no excuse to tolerate disrespect. Hell no. But we all have our standards. I don’t stand for being mistreated. Like I said, once Seth grew some balls, she stop that ish. But it was a red flag in the beginning. If you’re not seeing it…bless your heart I guess.
As I’m older watching this show this relationship never made sense to me don’t know why the writers kept pushing this relationship over Seth and Anna, that relationship had all the chemistry in world
@@maria-ie6zd you must either be blind, deaf, dumb or all three if you think Seth and Anna have no chemistry. Also Summer was just plain toxic and abusive towards Seth whole Anna lifted Seth’s spirit up
@@tarikestrada708 I’d say look in the mirror when describing someone blind, but then since you’re blind you’d just see your own idiocy staring back. Anna and Seth had the chemistry of siblings at most, but you’re clearly into that so maybe that’s something you should seek psychiatric help for.
