@@nclp1751 same, I always cry when I watch that scene. It hits home, because my mother has the same problem and it ruined my childhood (among other things).
this just makes my heart ache. god, i miss this show. "Hey, I'm not afraid of Summer and Anna, alright? Well, I'm not afraid of Anna." - Summer and Seth forever.
Watching this scene just makes me want to rewatch two of my favourite shows, Veronica Mars and The O.C.. I love when Ryan's funny side comes out. This scene is brilliant.
2:50 - 3:08 Kristen: do u know what i want to know is why these boys are so smug Seth: because for once I didn't do anything wrong Sandy: That's true. Here's to ya Ryan: back at ya Kristen: enjoy it boys because knowing the two of you it won't last long I love Seth and Ryan. the troublemakers
uh Seth said "maybe because for once they (Sandy and ryan) didn't do anything wrong." not "I didn't do anything wrong.." hence why Sandy said "here's to ya" to ryan whom replied "back at ya";)
I remember this was my favorite show when I was a kid. All my brothers made fun of me for watching this. I still use the “summer flu” even as an adult.
I’m not entirely sure what made this show so good, but it was. Many other shows that focused on drama have been forgotten, but The O.C. remains a beautiful piece of nostalgia.
I believe part of the equation was the ability to pull in such a strong mix of personalities, even if the general demographic was the same. Kirsten and Julie, for instance, had similarities, but also major differences, as did Marissa and Summer.
