I peeped it right away, just knew she was going to have that problem. I had watched this show when I was younger but I didn’t recall many things. So on the rewatch now as adult first thing I caught.
Is that what had just happened? I love how Jimmy is always viewed as the good guy. Sure, he stole a shitload of money from his clients, but Cal did something you just don’t see these days. He had sex with a woman who isn’t his wife. Personally I do think cheating on your wife is worse in terms of what it says about your character, but there really isn’t a lot of room for lectures on practicing impeccable moral character to be given by anyone other than Sandy.
Julie is one to talk, she got pregnant with Marissa when she was 18, she only married Jimmy because she was pregnant. She was also cheating on Caleb and she only married Caleb because he had money, she was a greedy gold digger.
This was such a good scene! i loved it! thanks for putting it up ;) I love Kirsten you're right, she's so strong i love it when she breaks up though, she's a good actress
I love when Ryan goes to talk to her and something about accepting people into the family. I always feel like they could have showed that mother/son relationship more over the seasons
Poor Kristen she learned that she has a younger half sister Lindsay were Caleb comes clean about him and Renee's affair in a result of getting her pregnant while cheated on Kristen's mom for 16 years of hiding the secret would hurt the children and the family so sad
The reason this show had a warmth to it that BH90210 or Gossip Girl or PLL (my wife made me watch the last two and PLL was trash) or any prime time soap opera is the Cohen’s, especially Sandy. As cheesy as it sounds, when I watched this show I really fell hard for the whole “bleeding heart liberal adopts poor kid from trashy inner-city neighborhood.” Maybe it was my own dysfunctional childhood that led me to envy what Ryan had in Sandy, something that kids like Seth took for granted, not because he’s a bad kid, but because that’s just what kids do. Maybe it’s because the older I get the more I realize bleeding heart liberals like Sandy are almost extinct, or never existed in the first place. Long story short, this show meant a lot to me. P.S. I also wanted Hayley.
Despite the Lindsay storyline getting a lot of criticism, and it is largely forgotten about before this season even ends, I do like that it shows Kirsten's disintegrating relationship with her father and it's really the thing that eventually leads to unhealthy communication with Sandy as well as her alcoholism getting out of control. And Kelly just crushed it with the dialogue delivery the way she unleashes anger onto Caleb.
Me too! Except for Dawson's Creek , it was mediocre for me! I saw the series , but I think it just wasn't my really my taste! It had a few good moments though
@krystlerita that's the thing though.. most villains think what they are doing is what's best at the time.. Read Hitler's book for a demonstration lol..
I thought ryan and lindsay were the beat couple on the show. In the real world, where Ryan and Marissa hadnt had to be a pair i think that relationship would have worked
Thanks Alan Dale for playing in a bubble gum show that I would not have watched even at 12-13.But it's not my taste. And he really made the bad writing bearable and should be noticed for his genuine acting. He saves bad shows. And no matter how much older he gets, he can deliver it all.I even watch the dynasty throwback from the 80's. When I was too young to watch that. And thank God my mom would not let us watch those shows. As I saw a few clips from the 80's and it was horrible. But the return of the new dynasty is great with Alan Dale and his humor&delivery. And to be honest.I would not exactly watch it when he leaves. But dynasty throwback is not bad with some of the best young actors in the buisness. It's getting a bad cast as they move into the 3rd season. But the 1st season and 2nd was great. Especially the finale of the draining of the lake. And the dead bodies. He's funny and natural. Did an award-winning performance in the horrific law&order svu-the only eppisode I watched after the 1st season of a child molesters dream show,I moved on.I caught the episode with Alan Dale, and I saw an actor with the protein ability of an actors actor. Thanks for putting up a scene with Alan Dale in it. Not many.
Really though she acted like the jealous wife that is not normal behavior for a daughter be upset but to act like he cheated on her was too much. The wife is a different story he should have told her he deserved that slap.
Loulou Willis Julie (Caleb’s wife) had known Caleb for a lot less time than Kirsten (his daughter) by this point, because they had only been married for less than a year. So it makes more sense for Kirsten to be this mad because he didn’t tell her about her sister for years, and cheated on her mother too.
