The resistance is an attachment to an outcome you're afraid you wont obtain. Wanting to look competent or maybe obtain status, wanting to succeed immediately without struggle, things of that nature. We fear not getting that and looking stupid or wasting our time. Coming to terms with this and changing your expectations to "Even though this might not work, I'm going to fully go for it" and understanding that it's much more about iteration and batting average is how you stop having to fight it so hard.
