Setting a main collet or main chuck on a STAR CNC Swiss Lathe 

I’ll show you how to set the main collet clamping force on a Swiss, both manually and automatically. This was done on a Star SR20RII but the basic premise of manual setting is the same for nearly all Swiss brands and models. The automatic setting steps will be specific to the Star brand and will be the same across most Star models.
