It’s 4:30 in the morning and I watched your video on my way home from Cache Creek. I pulled off the highway to tell you what you already know. You need to take a break from poker. Studying would be great, but what’s better is to just do something else you enjoy. Go spend more time with your kid or go play golf. Everybody needs to step away from the game from time to time. Doing this will help you more than anything.

Not really, some of the hands are not syncing well with the video, and/ or not having pictures while the narrator is still talking in the background. Kinda dry to listen to! My personal opinion.

I agree about the sticker on the hat. Also if you leave it on and it eventually comes off, there will be an imprint of a circle where the sticker was which will make the hat look weird.

A6d isn't a pure fold to an early position raise, it still has some raise/fold mix frequencies dependent on table conditions.

The sticker on the hat is a luck thing. Visit a horse track and you'll see some hats with their stickers still in place. You might even see the price tag dangling off the side. It's for good luck baby!

I'm currently in a downswing, too. You know what the worst part about it is? I assume I'm going to lose the hand as I enter the pot. It's like I expect or will it to happen, and it's coming to fruition during this time. It's annoying as all get out.

My experience has concluded you can be the best poker player in the world and have a run of bad luck. Maybe play a lower stakes game until you replenish your bankroll. Don't keep playing your stakes....slow down. Or, maybe even take a month off to recharge your battery.

I hate pocket Kings. I raised with them 6x the big blind and got 1 caller. Flop was 2,3,5 rainbow and I jammed. Got snap called by Ace 4 off. Hang in there Ben.

You’re telegraphing your hand with such a big raise. If you’re deep enough people can call with almost anything and if they beat an overpair they can stack you easily

Maybe you need to fast play your sets a little more I didn’t see the one with the nut flush but I think maybe look it fast playing your sets and also correct if you play bad cards and get good hands with them your going to lose money more times then making money keep going bro 💪💪🤷‍♂️

First time watcher here... I visited Vegas in June from Australia for the first time. Been on my bucket list for the last 20 years.. I've never flopped so many sets and top 2 pairs to be out drawn in my life. It was absolutely brutal. Had a few good sessions but lost more than I won due to it. People in Vegas just don't give up on draws no matter how much I bet.. the tide will turn. Keep fighting!

I had two bad sessions before the last one i lost 800 and 600 basically so i was glad when it turned around over all i usually come ahead 7 out of every 10 sessions

Yea. They way it works is you communicate with the hosts through telegram. You send them money to buy in and they send you the money back when you cash out. Obviously that can result in some untrustworthy hosts. However the guys I mentioned I can vouch for. Just use the telegram handle, club code, and referral code in the description of the video.

When u hit trips on flops you dont bet big enough and get turned or rivered everytime need to be more aggressive when u hit instead of trying to get called to build a pot a small win on the flop is better then losing on the river moat of the time

The Peppermill has a single blind structure. So essentially just a small blind which is $5. The rock is the “big” blind in the Peppermill’ game. So it’s a $5 blind and whoever wins the previous pot is has the rock”$10” blind.

At 3:15 mark, why is it that w/ your kings “ the board gets progressively better with each ace?!” I would think it would get progressively worse. And sure enough u wisely fold it, I think, because he may well have had an ace. So again, why were those aces on the board good for you with your kings…or maybe i didn’t hear you right.

The more Aces accounted for the less likely it is that your opponent has an Ace. Especially when you consider one Ace was already beating KK, trip Aces doesn't make much of a difference - but it is now much less likely they have it.

Having a ace in your hand only blocks quad aces. Blockers are overrated. Having 2 threes in your hand “blocks” you from hitting a set of threes, so why play them.

@@BenDeachI think your lead was on the large side, considering it was a limped pot. Maybe size down to around 20? He might still raise the 100, but then you'll be getting better odds to call.... NOT raise. In my opinion raising doesn't make sense, as I doubt you're getting better hands to fold... And worse hands are certainly not calling. An argument can be made that flush draws might call off but do you think both players have that? And in a limped pot?

Hey Ben, re: poker. Indeed concentrate on good decisions, and don't reflect on bad beats, bad runouts, etc. I've noticed a whiny tone creeping into your voice as the downswing has gone on. E.g. "Obviously the flush doesn't get there, but they have a pair of tens so I lose." You have *got* to lose that mindset. Go listen to Tommy Angelo, Jared Tendler, or any of the good mindset coaches. That sort of "I know I'm going to lose, it's just a question of how" will dump toxins into your whole existence. To say nothing of your poker game. Focus on the upsides of your life, which are many. You play poker and make content for a living. You have a son you love and who loves you back. Stick with that stuff and leave the whine and "How will I lose today?" by the side of the road.
