The mazda motorsports timing wheel for the nb is a great piece to add adjustable ignition. I've used them on my last couple of nb's and it definitely helps with the initial throttle response while street driving. Cheers!! Thanks for the great video!!
I was wondering everyone states tuning to 14 degrees for more performance in USA. I imported a Japanese NA, into New Zealand. I think 91 octane gas/petrol is the lowest in Japan & NZ but USA's is 87 octane. Therefore, does the 14 degree timing trick work for Japanese JDM cars?
What you did not mention is that the timing can only be accurately set at the right rpm. 850-900 rpm. If the car is running higher rpm the timing will not be correct as it is already advanced.
You went through all that effort to do a thorough job of showing and explaining the balancer and the markings, and setting up the light, but then you totally blew bast the actual adjusting technique. What is the cam sensor? Are you rotating a specific part on it? Are you rotating the whole thing? What does it actually look like?
Hi mate...That will be a speedy sensor that connects underneath the car. I think it's called just speed sensor and connects in the gearbox underneath or near the clutch somewhere
hey man i’ve got a really important question i’d like your help with if you have any other way i can contact you to explain my situation. to put it short im 10 grand in parts and diagnosis into my miata and it has never run correctly. wondering if u could give some insight on it or not. let me know please!
So flying Miata states it’s the drivers right you should pay attention to but your video is opposite. What I got mine at is the one tick mark on the right that’s at top dead center needs to be at the 10 mark when shooting timing light. Why can’t we get this info out to the public the correct way.
