Setting the parameters step by step ready to treat clients underarms. Look out for any pigment under the arms and cooking time will need to be altered as hairs tend to be thicker on the under arms.
Mmmmm, so the spot size has nothing to do with the size of the area…. If the hair is still coarse you should using a spot size 18 that determines how deep the energy goes … if the hairs are medium fine then the 15 spot size is appropriate
I do scalp laser hair removal with the same machine and it works great. The used settings iat the Alexandrite-Mode are 10 J/cm² at the first treatment, 14 J/cm² from the 2 - 6 treatment, 16 at the 7 - 10 one and now, 18 J/cm². All at 3 ms pulse duration.
Good to know. I just started my fisrst session and it started at 10J/CM2, I was wondering if this wan't too low. So, i'm looking at youtube videos, and found your comment. It put me at eas a bit. Wondering what settings they will use on the second appointement.
Laser hair "removal" is not a permanent solution. It just makes hair thinner with time and grow less frequently, even if you finish all sessions in the package designed for you, you will still have to do retouch laser sessions, maybe once a year or once every 2 years or once every 3 years it's different for every individual depending on their skin/hair type and growth cycle. So if you only had 1 session of course it will still grow like normal thickness with many sessions it will be different when it grows back
