As an owner of a C6 corvette, it's so amazing to see the evolution of the Corvette and to see it really is hanging in there with the exotics and even surpassing them. What a great driver you are Austin. I'm surprised you haven't talked to a racing team about becoming a pro driver and getting a ride. Learning from and enjoying all of your adventures.

It was awesome to meet you at this event and wow the ZO6 in person and on track was just incredible the sound and power!! Paired with a great driver like yourself excellent combination…looking forward to more !

Austin, there are a lot of things (all good) that I would attribute to you, but SPEECHLESS is NOT one of them! We all get to live vicariously through you, and you do not disappoint! Keep the track days coming. Unfortunately, Laguna Seca will be closed for some time, and when resurfaced, lap times will be comparing apples to oranges. My Streets of Willow times dropped by 4-5 seconds with the new surface. Congrats on the 1:45 at AC Speedway. There's lots more time out there for you!

Great job finding the sweet spot! Got in the groove, all systems warmed up, and pushed it! Takes a steady hand, and a lot of balls!👍 Now this is a horse of an entirely different color, but I did 185 mph repeatedly, down the front straight in an Indy Car trainer! One gear, no mirrors, follow the line of the instructor. Maxed out at 185, wouldn't go any faster!

In a way it's good that these are so hard to get right now. Temptation might get the better of me.... Really strong driving! The car looks absolutely flat in cornering and I could listen to that sound all day. This is what the new gen of corvettes should have been from the beginning. Not that the base model is bad, but this engine just seems to be more proper for a mid-engine exotic.

I like that you actually track these cars to unleash their potential. Thank you. To me, it's not about the straight line performance but how the car behaves around corners.

Blew by that C7 Z06 like it was standing still. That Flat Plane Crank V8 engine, is amazing.

Oh man Austin your having too much fun! Great video seeing your Z06 on track as I know every inch of the Roval there. I was surprised that camber still had to be adjusted for the track as I thought the Z06 was track ready but perhaps the street setting makes sense since many will not track the car. COTA should be a blast!

Finally! What I've been waiting to see/hear. We need people like Austin, to show us how reliable this car is going to be. Of course I'm on a list for one, but I've been so apprehensive about the reliability of this new engine. We could see Austin gradually speeding up over the minutes. He's only going to get faster. LOVE IT!!

I’ve been waiting for this video 😁 this is such an amazing car I absolutely love it. By far the best corvette ever produced even tho at first I had doubts ab the C8 but it’s grown on me so much and the Z06 only solidified it. I can’t wait to see what they do with the ZR1 👀 I can only imagine how that 5.5L is gonna be when supercharged I mean it already makes 670 stock so it’s def goin into the high 900’s to 1,000’s I’m sure of it

Looks like the Z has ton of grip exiting the corners. You def left some time out there. Little late back on the throttle exiting a few of them.

Track time is always my favorite part. Since you took your mclaren to the track day...does that mean you got a trailer??? You also set the best lap time for a NA. Great job. Nice job tracking it! I'm sure you're just warming up to the track and getting comfortable but Through the big bank you should be able to enter at over 160, and hold at a bare minimum 140+ through it with this car. I rented a V6 Camaro once because my C6Z was down and I was holding 135 through the bank, so I know your C8Z will be far better. My best time back before I knew what I was doing was 1:48 in my C6Z, when I get my C8Z I'll see what it'll do at ACS, WSIR, BW. Either way, keep up the great videos 🎉

Awesome run Austin, this is my favorite track! What octane fuel did you run?? We know you'll be down a little power if it was just 91. So was 1:45 your best time so far? With my Modded C7 Z06 on scrubs, I've been 1:46.1, but that was pushing it VERY hard, GREAT job, can't wait to get mine, put deposit down over 3 years ago...
