I'm 46, and ain't no horn dog anymore. First things first, to the dad. Thank you for teaching our young people about the outdoors. How to feed yourself and your family with what nature provides. To the young lady in this video, you have paid attention and learned a very valuable way of how to live. Congratulations to you sir for having a wonderful daughter who ain't afraid to get in there and get dirty. I'm almost positive she can handle herself and whip the ass of most of these city boys on here making rude comments about her. You young lady will make some lucky MAN a great wife someday. I’m a pretty avid outdoorsman in Ohio, love to fish, backpack, camp, & climb. What these folks are doing is strictly a southern activity, and that’s what I love about this channel. There is such a distinct culture in the southeast United States that I just find fascinating. If the world ever comes to and end and our food supply is threatened, these folks will be the last ones standing

An older Man (here in North Alabama) taught My Brother and I, when we were kids, how to catch Snappers with a Turtle Hook! I loved it except we had to wade the creeks hunting the holes the old Turtles would back into! We made the Turtle Hooks with the outside metal on old Bed Springs! We would straighten the wire and make a hook on the end! I really Enjoy Videos like this! ....THANKS!!

My wife of 35 yrs is from S. Ga originaly, but she grew up in central Fl. Somewhat random. I worked out regularly from the age of 17 until 29 (last year) when a life time of various injuries and ailments led me to make the sad decision to call it quits. I have dabbled with bodyweight stuff here and there over the last year but just cant find the drive anymore. Your little tid bit at the beginning about working out gave me a little jolt for some reason, and I ended up riding my motorcycle to a local park and doing some pull ups and some painful (on my shoulder) push ups followed by a run around the lake. My lungs felt terrible and my leg muscles were unreasonably tired from the short run but it is what it is. A long fall from glory for me. Thanks for the motivation, and stay well.
