If you make a point to take them outside right after they eat in about 5mins they’ll do their business. Watch for it & praise them for it, ( good dog, you’re such a good dog) it also helps to pick a phrase to call potty time. I’ve always used “do your business”. The puppy picks it up pretty fast, between the praise & the same phrase it makes the connection in a matter of days & house breaking/potty training goes a lot quicker. They may have an accident or two, if you catch it, pick em up, take em outside. They’ll get it. If you find it after the fact you can’t scold them. Their thought process runs on maybe a 5 second cycle, they won’t get why you’re scolding them, that 5 sec. is long gone. It’s like pee pads( don’t…worse thing you can do), you want your dog to do its business outside but you put down a pad inside just in case…you even tell em, ya gotta go & can’t get outside you can go here. You might as well pee on it yourself,all you’ve done is tell that dog it’s got a inside place to do its business too! Pads defeat the purpose. Just remember their bladders are a whole lot smaller then yours & your gonna spend more time outside for about 2-3weeks & it’s done. Praise pays! Happy dog, happy you, happy house! I just wanted to let people know bulls are most likely a little dull but when they reach adulthood there smart my source is my mom and grandma been raising them there also protective i remember being a child they where always chill around me anything that came around that usually doesn't they jump up and let them know there not welcome if they got close to me they attacked instinctively and on training i screamed stop they stopped smart when older but from what i heard duller when younger but still there protective and nice when raised right my elders say this mans doing it right the pitbulls may have saved me from a potential abduction in the sticks has well so yeah there great and show love but if they need to they will protect with correct training especially children from other dogs including bigger and humans there protective -From Montana
