@Aggie Celeste Do you have a new one? I think mine is so tight and stiff. It's a Eurmax. It would be easy to do alone if the upper corner lifts and the inside center moved more easily.
Dam I'm jealous..how did you get the last part of the corners to go up? That's where I'm stuck at and just pushing with all I got n still I'm like half an inch away from the hole it'll click into...maybe I am getting old, lol, sh*ot. I'm 5'8 and still can't get it to pop up. I've never once had an issue with doing things like this by myself. Like I filled and hung my 200lb heavy bag on my back porch alone last summer, I've got to be able to do this.
I love the internet for this reason! Thanks so much for figuring this out and posting a very helpful video. You're one more spoke in my effort to "not" reinvent the wheel. Thanks, again.
I bought one of these off of marketplace a few years ago because it looked very well made but haven’t used it, partially because it is so heavy and I am disabled. I tried to put it up yesterday and just about gave myself heat stroke and finally gave up because it was starting to storm. After watching this video, I’m going to try it again tomorrow. This would make my life so much easier if I am able to set it up by myself since there’s nobody else to help. Thank you so much.
Aw, thank you so much! Your video popped up first and it was quick and concise plus explained potential issues with weak pop ups! It worked PERFECT for mine. I bought a very sturdy one. Misplaced my last one quite a few years ago. Loaned it out. Oops! Blessings!
I drive a box van and it has step handles on the rear side and I have been tying a tie down strap from the truck to the corner post and stretching it out from the caddy corner post until you can get the corner locked in at the top. I got tired of doing it that way and finally at least watched directions 😋
I have an Ozart 10x20 I tried to put up for the first time. It was extremely difficult pushing up the locks on the corners by yourself. Took 2 people to do it. Smh. I wish they made it easier.
This is the best video I've seen. I have a similar canopy. A Eurmax. It's new but has been sitting in the box for a few months. Do you think with use they start to loosen up? If I try to get underneath and lift, all the legs come up and the corners are near impossible to lift. So stiff.
can you do a video on setting up and maintaining such a tent on windy days? we often get 25-30 mph avg wind days, with gusts into the 40+mph range and these things take off like a box kite!!
Well maybe it's cus I just don't have guns like that but just pushing that corner up into the little snap, ya not happening. I'm acually lifting the entire thing up when I'm trying to get the top corner in lock and can't get it to barley budge. And ya mines definitely a sturdy one, if only I could get these corners up...now what I've done with like pop up umbrella shades is flip the whole thing upside-down and pushed down and I have more strength, well I guess it's more like I have my body weight I can put into it to make it push down into slot, but this one might be a bit tricky to do that with, lol. Ima have to call my kids dad I guess, really was restraining on doing that tho, and ima try with all my might for probably another half hour or so n if I still can't get the corners to pop up, then Ill call for help.
Okay, okay! NOW...let's see how EZ it is to pack in the lame bags that come with the tent. AND...while we are at it, let's see how EZ it is to put up the side walls, and take them down, fold, and pack. My "commercial" tent didn't even include instructions on the tent, and their site doesn't have anything about the side walls. The tent, is excellent, but they need to work on how customers have to manage the whole package. Lets have a zipper in the back too. These events give you a 10x10 space and you need to be behind the tent to complete sales. If the walls are up, you are screwed. AND...last, "there aren't any wheels on the bag"! You are expected to carry or drag the 52 lbs to your event site. Come on EZ Up...you know better than this!
Yeah this is not helpful. First of all you are a man who is significantly stronger than a woman in most cases. The part where you push the corners up is literally completely impossible for me. Thanks for the advice but clearly you're missing the point
