Setting Up Aruba Instant On 1930 Switch with Multiple VLANs 

Glad you liked it - thank you for the kind feedback - and feel free to share it :) re. your question, you most certainly can. You just need to tag the appropriate VLANs on both ends and set up routing on your router.

@@XX99XXL 1930 series is not intended for installations with many VLANs, I guess... Most of deployments will be simple and require no more than 1-5 VLANs, so no advanced management tools (such as CLI) are required.

You should be able to remove VLANs from an individual port (eg can have only select VLANs tagged). Go to your Networks tile, select your network (VLAN) that you want to modify port assignments for, expand More Options section and select Network Assignment. You should be able to set the ports as tagged or untagged for this particular network or even remove that network from this port. Just remember the rules, every port has to belong to at least one VLAN (tagged or untagged) and you can only untag one VLAN per port, but you can tag multiple VLANs.

You can only untag a single VLAN per port but you can tag multiple VLANs. Just make sure that your VLAN tagging settings match on both sides of the link.

You can choose to configure the switch locally through the Web GUI (no internet or cloud account required) or through the cloud

I have the same issue. I created VLAN 20 and 10 for port 5, but my pc doesn't get the ip from vlan network@@NetworkingDojo_AION

Hello, in our example we used a router to do the routing between different VLANs. At this stage you are unable to setup this switch as a router if you are managing it using the smartphone app. This switch is capable of static routing but you will need to configure it using the web app from portal.arubainstanton.com rather than the smartphone app. Go to your switch under Connectivity tab and enable Allow routing between networks. Now you will be able to set IP addresses for each VLAN and route between them accordingly.

@@NetworkingDojo_AION So the 1930 supports inter-VLAN routing? I see it's a Layer2+ switch, but I could find what the + features are.
