Setting up camp for the night 

Although you don’t need much to travel and have fun, having some of the right equipment makes a big difference.
I love my REI Dome 3 tent. The set up is always quick and it does pretty well in windy situations (after set up. Lol). Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to sleep in it as Death Valley at this time of year is really hot and the temperature inside my tent was unbearable. The ground was so hot that it was hitting up my mattress. Even though the wind was blowing, it was blowing hot air and that was not helping.
