Thanks Fuzz great guide . As Nox said just a petty that Aus police are all encrypted . Just one thing if you don't hear any sound at all . Might just need todo into => Sounds => Recording => Right Click => Cable Output => Properties => & tick listen to this device . It was the way I got sound . Thanks again for all the help . Al

I've tried multiple times, and it just stays on the control frequency at my mothers (I can see the data stream, and see the frequencies pop up showing people on those frequencies talking, but it never jumps to the frequency they're talking on), it never goes to the voice channel even if there's activity, and no the voice coms aren't encrypted as I can go to the voice frequency on SDR++ using VB cable as output and having DSDPlus decode it just fine. Now the odd thing is that I got it working just fine at home and it'll hop to the voice frequencies. But at my mother's it just stays on the control frequency.

Interesting! As are all your videos 👍 Curious though.. why didn't you use dds plus by itself (standalone), instead of including unitrunker & vb-cable?

Awesome thanks mate you do a great job at these videos. Just sad that there isn’t software to get Phase 2 as here in Aus 🇦🇺 police are phase 2 so don’t really here much. Get a lot of action through the DSD+ but nothing comes out unless it’s the fire authority’s.

I can get the control channel reading but I don't know how to get actual audio out of it. Just shows the same message over and over in dsd

Help! So i have gotten Unitrunker's health to almost 100,bounces from about 80 to 100 and i see calls coming across, But all i hear is static, i also get an error trying to start the Batch file you make, it says windows cannot find it make sure you typed it correctly. My audio input device #1 is cable input vb audio, Audio output device #1 is my speakers. Is this issue because im trying to decode a p25 phase 2 system and dsd plus only decodes phase 1?

what if there's more than 1 red frequency?

One is the main, and one is the backup (sometimes there's more than one backup) You just choose one and try it if it doesn't work, try the other one, simple deduction. Or write all the red control frequencies down, use the SDR (being that you're here I assume you have an SDR and how to use it) to go to said frequencies and see what one is transmitting, or choose the one with the best signal.

i cannot get this damn thing working! win 11 i7 rtlsdrv3 that works with sdr# , sdrconsole and pretty much every other software i use. Frigging unitrunker keeps stating could not open. i followed your fantastic guidelines to the T. it looks like there is a lot of people with newer computers that are having similar issues.
