I'm not as organized as you, but if I feel like being organized, man do I get organized. I actually would spend hours getting things perfected, and sometimes I get bothered if things aren't perfect so sometimes I'm mentally screaming to move something just a smidge, but you did a great job at your classroom, and LOVE the circus theme ^-^

Love your classroom!!! Also, I always hot glue my laminated labels on baskets. :) Hopefully the bigger rings work for you. P.S. The popcorn seats are too cute!!! Are those dry erase board erasers from Target? If so, do you remember what section? Thanks!

Your room looks so great! I love the sheet protector idea for keeping notes to/from parents. I teach Kindergarten in Texas, but I still like to see how other classrooms are organized. Have a great school year!!

I used packaging tape to hold my labels on. I was pleasantly suprised they lasted all year. My baskets were textured as well.

I'm not a teacher, but I have an idea. Instead of rings for the labels on you baskets you can use zip ties. They can go through the hole punch thing and on the handles.

I've used those little sticky hook things and they will continue to fall no matter what. I also had to pick up posters and pocket charts so many times!

I have a magnetic bin that has 2 sections to stand up expo markers. I put them tip down too so the ink flows. I think it was from office max in a "locker organization" section. Love the popcorn word wall! Can you add red felt to the side of the magnet that is showing through the pocket chart? I cannot find the makeup 'erasers' anywhere in Chicago! I've been to 4 dollar trees! Your room looks great! Good job!

I put tennis balls on the legs of my sitting desks and it solved the problem. Not cheap, but they have lasted several years.

Michelle Charlie I wouldn't. When cutting into the balls you release a latex toxin and expose the children and staff to nitrogen gas- some brands use this to fill the hollow balls. It can also release mold spores along with other allergens. Collects dust making allergies worse. Children who lean on the backs of their chairs are at a higher risk of falling Balls that pop off can become a hazard as small kids love to throw throwable objects. I suggest proper floor savers even if more expensive money wise.

PuttingFourthEffort that’s crazy to me! My school is in a neighborhood so about 35% of our kiddos are walkers! Our school flooded and had to relocate temporarily after Harvey so we don’t have walkers currently, but we will when we move into our real building in August. I’m thinking of making a vlog channel for that whole journey of packing up all our stuff at our temp school and moving back/starting over!

HAHA. good question. they were basically there for decor. originally i wanted it to be a behavior management strategy and fill up the jar with them but that never happened.
