Setting Up New Kuretake Gansai Tambi Palettes and using them! These are really neat palettes made by ArtsToEmbers on Etsy and they are magnificent!

i don’t any have kuretake at the moment because of this exact reason… no proper organizer for them. but this item you’ve shown is definitely a game changer!

Yes, these palettes come in smaller and bigger sizes for the Kuretaki pans. This was as big as I really wanted. I love them. ❤️

If they made a palette to hold all 100 Kuretake pans, I'd be in! 😂 But these look very handy to combine the smaller sets, and great idea adding in the graphite ones!

I have a set of 36 Kuretake in the lg cardboard box. I love it. I'll be going online to see the proper names of the different colors. I appreciate knowing I can do that. I have numbers, but the names are in Japanese. Or, something picturesque! Thanks, Miranda!

I loove these sets! I got the B set and the 18 set and they work sooo good together! I also laughed when you said you didn't want to add salt especially that the swatches are obvious in the thumbnail 😅

Yeah, I tried really hard not to add salt, but my mind was screaming at me, so I gave in, LOL! I know a lot of people don't like the sheen you can get with these in mass tone, but they're really enjoyable to use. I like them!

I'm always on the look-out for more/better art storage, and these 3d printed palettes are really intriguing. I'm glad you mentioned how easily the Kuretake Gansai paints activate - many times, I've overloaded my brush because I forgot about that!

Bless you for that link the where you can get the graphite singles. I'm going to have to take a look, I'm missing the graphite blue. I got the art nouveaux set for xmas, and I need to play with them. I love the way you did the playing cards. Super fun looking. The 'getting stuff done' page, so cute. Question, do you feel the 3D print texture anywhere on the palette? It's a sensory thing for me and I can't touch that texture without major ick.

The palettes are surprisingly smooth. You can see the texture but you can't feel it. They're so nice! Yes, I was grateful to the person who told me about johnnealbooks. So nice to be able to get the graphite pans singularly. The Art Nouveaux set looks lovely and now I have at least a few colors from that set! 😀

I think it'd be a lot easier to do if I were alone on a trip because of have a lot of spare time. On this trip, I'm with a large group of people and I love hanging out with them, so it's not giving me a lot of time for the journal. Still fun to try here and there, though!

Thanks for sharing these palettes! I love my Gansai Tambi paints. A few years ago, I did all the Christmas cards using the 48-color set and they turned out amazing. The slight sheen added a special finish to each one. The larger pans and vibrant colors reel me back to these paints more than any others except QoR.

I love these palettes! I will have to get some for my GT paints. Watching you swatch on the cellulose paper is killing me, though! It looks terrible! I know I shouldn't be dismissive, and I used up all my beginner paper just bc I felt obligated, but cotton is the way to go!

Yeah, the cellulose paper was much less enjoyable than I was hoping for. It looked really nice at first glance. I probably will redo the swatches on cotton paper at some point. It makes such a difference!
