Such a great idea of recycling the bottle to drip acclimate 🙌👍 Gonna start my own shrimp tank soon! Thanks for the idea and great video! the tank looks beautiful!
One little tip for future shrimp additions is to not add the water the shrimp came in to your tank as it may contaminate your tank with something you cannot necessarily see. Always take the shrimp out with a net and add them to the tank and then throw the water out. 😊👍
Great idea doing drip method like that. IMO it might make more sense to drip then immerse for temperature change, though. During 20 minutes of drip the temperature will work back to room temp instead of water temp.
Wonderful video. The video quality was so nice that I for the first time saw a shrimp poop. I have seen many videos and I have never seen how a shrimp poops.
you did it so well and carefully! i'm sure theyll love their tank! just, maybe think about adding a few more shrimp and you may expect babies! if you want that tho :) it just saves you a lot of money mine already saved me 100 dollars by breeding :DD
Hope it goes well. Good job doing a proper acclimation. Watch out for the temperature of the water and overfeeding, these are problems I had when I started, a feeding dish can help. Also the shrimp and baby shrimp will benefit from a sponge filter if you have one, if not more live plants will also help them, mosses are great.
I just bought some blue velvet shrimps and yesterday i got 30 plus fries,ur channel is awsome brother wuthout saying a single word u managed to get this much subscribers, respect🔥
@@navi0822 I stabbed the middle of the cap with a small knife and twisted it a little bit. Twist it carefully! ( If my grammar is wrong feel free to correct me)
Suggestion, the alternative for fan, is just put your aquarium to the floor or near the window, AS long as it don't get a direct sunlight, it will always cooldown the temperature, sometimes can drop too much😅
I rather stick to your own nimble direct set up... others has like this and that... i am planning to set up my own shrimp tank... to be exact maybe a 15 or 20 gallon red cherry shrimp... hop up hang on hob filter...full spectrum lights rgb i'll post this on your site. Hope we can exchange ideas about raising and breeding these lil ones...
Hey! I actually started off with 7 cherry shrimp and they were great together! depending on how many gallons your tank is, tells you how many shrimp you can have! easy breeding shrimp like ghost shrimp ect, only need to start off with a couple since they will have so many babies! if you have any questions, feel free to ask!
