do you have any tutorials on how to enable and use the "- (Optional) Ability to use **SSML** for fine-control of how the speech is synthesized" I've been able to get an SSML off of the Audio Content Creation but it's not clear how I use this in voice attack.

Added this and it was working great, but now I'm getting a login error from the plugin, but the key and location have not changed. Any ideas?

I can't seem to get the play-back device to change. I have voiceattack overriding my default but for some reason this plug it doesn't change.

interesting addition to an already immersive app, along with your profiles. Question: How do you change the speech service i.e. female to male and accents? Can you select? I only have a female US voice currently.

You can change the default voice used by editing the config file (seen in the video at 6:44). Modify the value in the DefaultVoiceName setting to one of the neural voice names on this page docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cognitive-services/speech-service/language-support. For example, if you want a UK accented male voice, you could use "en-GB-RyanNeural". You also need to change the DefaultVoiceLanguage setting to match it, so for the UK male voice, the voice name starts with en-GB so that's what we put in the language setting as well. Hope this helps.

i went into azure, signed up, walked through all this stuff but i DON'T have any idea where the actual voices are so i can download and install them into microsoft - I WANT TO GET RID OF ZIRA - please help. Basically - i have zira selected but no other voices show up that can be used except David&Zira and some Assuie accent that is not Neural - so i'm stumped on how I get a Neural voice to select as the read back in voiceattack

Hi Ron, see my reply to Ken. You can change it in the config file (MSCongnitiveTextToSpeech.dll.config). You can modify the DefaultVoiceName and DefaultVoiceLanguage. You find the list of neural voices on Microsoft's site (docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cognitive-services/speech-service/language-support). If you want to try them out first and see which one you like, use Microsoft's demo page here (speech.microsoft.com/audiocontentcreation).

@@vetteman604 Got it. Completed it. everything works as executed in line with your video. However, the voice selection in my VoiceAttack does not change all I see is Zira, David, Default, Hazel. none of them sound like the voice I get when i do the voice check at the end of your video - ?where is that voice coming from and how do i get it (or another neural voice) so I can select it in voice attack - Thanks in advance for your help.

how would one go about implementing change of pitch and voice and such via azure foe each command? makeing a fun tool for my home :) and need to be able to change the speech style and what not and azure is amazing but im overwhelmed and need a lil guidance if ya could.

mainly need to be able to use the audio content creation resource as well and wanna make those command individually there then execute that text via voiceattack for most part

You can use "SSML" syntax in your speech text to modify the pitch and other things. It's a bit more advanced but not too bad to deal with. You can play with the options on Microsoft demo page (speech.microsoft.com/audiocontentcreation) and see what the SSML should look like. When you're happy with how things sound, in the top right you can flip it to show the SSML text, from there you can copy the text that between the tags and paste that in your VA command. If all you want to control is pitch, the command will look like this: Hi Bryan
