When you put on your shifter mount, that plate should go on the inside, acting as a spacer for the plastic parts that form the connection between the front and back end. You put it on the outside which will offset your gear mount. the plate goes between the main base and the gear mount. have a look at you video at 9 minutes and 26 seconds, that plate is on the wrong side of the shifter mount.
Although this rig is really great, I would probably recommend paying a little extra for the TITAN cockpit if you can spare the cash. Purely for convenience! :)
Just bought a gt omega Art second hand for €200. It came with the wheels included and everything. Can’t wait to put my G29 on it and really start hitting consistent lap times.
Has anyone figured out what the toothed washers are for? Ps. I think the small plate with 2 holes is supposed to go in-between the frame and the shifter mount, instead of using the washers.
does the gt omega art come with screws to mount the wheel, pedals, and shifter onto the cockpit or would I need to buy them separately? If not what size screws would I need. I have the logitech g923.
