Y’all I lost it when we went from Keith’s vulnerability about potentially not being able to have kids into Chase asking viewers to put “how to get man pregnant” in the comments, it was complete emotional whiplash
YES! Like the bus prompt, it's not necessarily a question of 'do you understand it' but rather 'is it worth the sensory overload'. I really like this series bc it opens up the floor for everyone to share their experiences and expand everyone's understanding of inclusivity.
I like how the most disgusted everyone was wasn't about Olivia and her lack of washing legs but about how Shane just doesn't sleep under the comforter 😂
Thank God Jackie's there, cause I legit can never ever tell if olivas messing with everyone or serious lol and Jackie reaction made clear most of it is goofing 😂 I just like how Jackie reads people.
Completely agree with Shane on the money and happiness question. If you live in a society where a decent amount of money is needed simply to obtain basic survival needs, money is necessary for growing happiness. You can't pursue enriching activities and goals if you've got to work two jobs just to make ends meet.
The problem lies with you in that sense. If you do nothing to try and build a skill or have the sense to get yourself into a trade that's relatively cheap, and you choose to have a family when you're not ready, that's all on you, not society. Oh and all those countries that liberals look up to like Sweden, Denmark, etc. etc. (which is ironic because they have a very high white population and liberals call that white supremacy), keep in mind that their socials spending structure is like that because they pay virtually ZERO money into their military. The moment they have to build their own military all those social safety nets are going bye-bye.
@@codynoth4183 You've also gotta keep in mind that not everyone has the option to do these things, and there are countless amounts of variables that play into that. A poor kid with an undiagnosed learning disability for example is likely *never* going to have that kind of choice. There are also households where someone for whatever reason is unable to work and another member of that household *has* to find a way to supplement that income, therefore reducing the amount of time that the one working can pursue the goals of bettering themselves as far as learning a trade. This is barely scratching the surface. As for the military spending thing, I'm not entirely sure how this is relevant. While I think it's unwise to put so little into a county's military, the U.S. spends an ludicrous amount on our active military (and do notice that I say "active") when even a small portion of that could go to making sure the people teaching the next generation of citizens, practically raising them tbh, aren't pinching pennies and having to work (sometimes multiple) other jobs just to barely scrape by. Point is, this country is becoming an increasingly hostile environment to anyone who doesn't already make more than $100,000/year. With the government continuing to funnel funds into the military, corporations buying up houses to rent to people at outrageous prices, and inflation going up even higher, I'd rather live in any of the countries you mentioned than here. Those nations are not at war and their governments are acting accordingly. The U.S. is not at war, and yet everything feels like a constant battle on our own damn soil.
I think that money can bring happiness not by buying objects and property but going with your family to a Theme park or a Water park. Different experiences like that are what I think can bring happiness from money being used for it. Money helps seek happiness but it doesn't directly buy happiness. You do have to create the happiness in what you spend the money on and with objects the happiness lasts only so long.
@@codynoth4183 Lmao it's funny you say it's "white supremacy" when people here are racists who think we've got too many immigrants. Also, we have our own military lmao. But we haven't made it into as much of a business as the US has, where it's a very lucrative industry. We also don't tend to go to war with random countries so we don't really need the same amount of GDP put towards that. Idk, maybe don't talk about countries you don't know about.
So i'd say i dont wash my legs cause i dont focus on them nearly like i do every other part. i dont scrub my legs unless i was working out or working in dirt or something and they were dirty. ill run the rag up and down the legs but thats it.
@@ljubomirjuraj9658 What are people doing with their legs that makes not washing them gross. Unless you're covered in dirt there's no reason to go scrubbing your legs.
I'm glad he did because, Jackie, what the heck?! Why would she ask him that? 🤦🏿😆 He's probably never had sex, and that's ok. Too many of us men let sex with women define us. She assumed he was sexually active and decided to ask that question in front of everyone.
@@mauricioraigosaclavijo8833 Probably because there's a major difference in Colombian and American fashion. He wouldn't stick out ANYWHERE in the US besides like a farm maybe.
12:13 Olivia’s smooth with that subject revert off of Shane’s sex life, while chanse is getting the visuals down perfectly for anyone’s future reference to Shane sleeping
Love this conversation on public transportation right off the bat! Chanse brought up a great point about urban planning and public transportation. Everyone should reach out to their community leaders and elected representatives to request better bus/subway/streetcar service and more walkable street designs.
And they probably will just say "thank you for your words" and ignore you. Unless you've got money to build an actual organization that can put real pressure on the government, one citizen's desires will just be seen as complaints to be ignored, especially if said citizen doesn't have a degree in the field nor ever held public office.
@@ft.jackjimmy7282 yeahh this is insane to me, i had somewhat of a grasp on how bad public transportation was in the US but never figured it was this garbage lol. here i can get basically anywhere i want, whenever i want on a whim by bus, tram or train
Thank you Keith for bringing up the health issues concerning kids. I have personal health issues as well and I WANT to have kids and feel like the risks are so high for complications that I’m not sure I ever will have them no matter how much I want them. And you speaking on it makes me feel less alone. So thank you.
it was really nice when they were talking about public proposals and Shane corrected himself from saying she to they when talking about who receives the proposal. It was just really nice to see 🥺💖
Olivia and Chanse are indeed winning this episode. Like Chanse is so funny and wise at the same time and Olivia is just destroying everyone since the shower question, she's indeed a winner lol
12:06 Jackie with the murderous question and a magnificent quick save from Olivia. Also Jackie getting it and quickly playing along tells me she didn't mean to put Shayne in such a pickle.
Chanse is the comedy mvp in the episode- damn! like "you got dirty legs, you got a unmade bed!" and "i was cool! i was prom king.... i was straight!" best quotes
With the public proposal, I feel like sometimes it could potentially feel like a trap. Like if your partner proposed in front of a ton people but you didn’t think you were ready for it or whatever, you might feel pressured to say yes because you don’t want to embarrass your partner because there’s all these people watching, or maybe you’d feel bad for saying no. And more simply, I think private proposals are more romantic.
it made me sad when Keith said his meds effect his ability to have kids. as an epileptic, my meds do the exact same thing but they give me folic acid as a pill to take if i were to get pregnant and wanted to keep it. to just not have that option as a young person is really heartbreaking
This with dumpster wizard and boneless and bobby from the block and augustus! Oh! And tommys one possessed doll character from that one board af xD and john d bad
Some ideas: College is worth attending Being “basic” is a bad thing Leaving social media isn’t actually helpful Your own poop/farts smell good Absolutely love this series! Healthy and light hearted debates.
These are pretty damn good. I don't think I can actually get behind the idea that "leaving social media isn't actually helpful" because I have done it a few times and it's actually kinda nice.
Of course it is, when you can attend. Of course not. Tastes are subjective, and everyone should be allowed to like mainstream stuff. I think it is. Absolutely not.
When Jackie was talking about being more high strung in high school and how she's growing and learning to let go of things and do the things that make her happy I felt that with my whole bussy
Maybe it’s because we haven’t really seen Chanse in videos much, but I wasn’t sure about him joining Smosh. But after this video, Chanse really killed it and was hilarious. And I like how much he seems to gel with the rest of the cast
@@chansemccrary2766 you're so sweet to comment when someone compliments you. 🥺 💜 Also you did awesome in this video. You had some really good points with what you said.
@@Subsistence69 I love him, he's hilarious. I think he got through the "awkward new boy" phase really quick, and immediately started gelling with the cast. The games episode with him, Jackie, Kimmy, and Keith is just GOLD. I think I have a big old crush on him!
The energy in this was fantastic 😂 Also, the way Shayne really focuses and listens to who is speaking… I think I would just be giggling to have that full focus. 🤣
My sister was proposed to at a fan event for a TV show she liked in front of a room full of strangers. Her boyfriend had arranged to have one of the actors call them up to the stage. To be polite and not hurt her boyfriend's feelings she said yes....but inside she was mortified. They stayed together for a few months after that but I truly think she fell out of love with him that day.
I appreciate Keith being vulnerable (specifically at 9:00) I can physically have kids and want them but there’s this condition that runs in my family that I’m a confirmed carrier of that causes a lot chronic pain throughout their lifetime and I don’t particularly want to put my children through that…
Do you mind sharing Which one? I'm realizing now there are so many different ones that cause chronic pain it's wild. my mom has ankylosing spondylitis so I've been wondering if I should see if I have the hla-b27 gene even tho with that having the gene doesn't always mean that you will develop it. I guess you have a gene that doesn't negatively effect you? that seems interesting. last one I learned about was from a family friend who had two kids with cystic fibrosis because they both carried the gene and then later in life the mother actually developed it which apparently means she had it all along but not with all the symptoms. she was super knowledgeable about the disease as well so it shook me that she was so surprised by the diagnosis. both her kids lived to their 20s and were healthy plus at healthy weights until they passed so that just freaks me out how diseases can sneak up on people and even those who know the symptoms don't always notice quickly
This part was SO RU-vid coded, with the not wanting to get de-monetized and the ad sponsors, I literally couldn't understand what he was saying for most of his speech
As someone who gets extremely cold at night, and can never sleep without at least 2 layers on top of me, Shayne saying he doesn't even get into bed, he just gets on the bed and pulls a blanket over top of him is mind-boggling to me.
Some people run hotter, and since bedding is designed to trap heat and the human body core drops a few degrees to heat the surrounding bedding and trap even more heat, it's possible it's really too hot for him
I do what shayne does lol personally it’s my sensory issues. A comforter, or at least the ones I’ve used, don’t conform to your body and that creates this odd paradox of hot from the closed space but “cool” air from the draft? I can’t stand it, I need a slightly thin, soft blanket that tailors to your body
I can't sleep under covers in a room hotter than like 64 degrees, which is the lowest my ac unit will go. In winter i keep my window open cause its too hot compared to the rest of the house in my room with the heat going.
This is just really fun. Everyone who watches this channel, watches for the cast I feel like. So to just hear them talk, is all I want. It's like I'm part of their friend group.
As a fellow Asian, I feel so much second-hand embarrassment (possibly even betrayal) that the only Asian in the group didn't wash her legs OR her armpits 😭
Keith made a valuable point about the money=happiness. In my opinion, it doesn't necessarily equal happiness. But bills being paid, kitchen good and stocked, pets and people have necessities... It sure helps if you have money.
I actually watched this one on mute with subtitles because I’d started getting a migraine and was waiting for my Excedrin to kick in. I just wanted to thank whoever does subtitles on these videos because they’re always so perfect. And this video had me giggling lol, I loved Chanse in this!!
I agree. My wife was proposed to a few years before me by what was supposed to be a really great guy.... Worship leader at a church, her parents loved him, he seemingly treated her good, you name it. But then behind the scenes he was a verbally abusive jerk. Long story short... He proposed to her in front of her entire family which to this day the idea of it all just makes me cringe. And of course because she's just an all around sweet girl and didn't want to embarrass him she said yes. Thankfully though his true colors shown through a text her mom saw and she encouraged her to call it off. Years later I proposed in private because I knew that's what she wanted and now here we are 15 years later.
Truth I nearly cried when Keith mentioned his situation with the chemo and kids. God bless you Keith I hope everything turns out fine with you man. You're staying strong and that's fucking inspiring more strength then I'll have.
I 100% relate with Shane on the bed thing. I legit for 20 years now have slept on top of my comforter with a single blanket. Fan on 24/7/365. All I need to pass out is a pillow and something covering my chest.
Not really, wealthy people tend to be the greedy ones. Poor people know $4 isn't the reason why they're poor and it realistically isn't going to change their situation at all.
I would disagree, i think it's more about how good your friends are with each other. If it's a friend group, and people actually do split costs or trade off paying, then it doesn't make sense to send money around because it's going to come back to you later.
At my job, I make less than most everybody. But I was raised to help people when you are able. So, when a coworker wants a drink or food, I'll always just buy it if we're in line together. And I've never once thought, "Oh. I better get that money back." My rule is: If I gave it away, I didn't need it.
It’s really good that we’re starting to see more of chance and Spencer, chase is beginning to get to the at least Kieth stage, not quite at the Shayne stage but it’s great to see more of them!
It's definitely not petty, it's pure irony for those who agree it's pretty to be throwing away those coins. Firstly, get a piggy bank and save them up, because overtime, those coins add up and you could be having a total of fifty dollars saved when you drop them all at a coin-counting machine at a bank. Secondly what Keith said, those begging for a Venmo needs to consider others' financial situations as well. Not everyone has the same situation, so receiving something is better than nothing at all.
@@HawaiianGirl808232 Disagree. Most of the people I know are struggling financially and I have literally never met a single person in that situation who would ask for money back for buying someone a drink or something, they just tend to be generous. The only people I've experienced it with are people who *don't* need the money. There are certainly exceptions so it's worth being careful but generally it's a pretty good litmus test
The medical recommendation is to wait five years after cancer treatment (not sure if it’s specific to chemo or radiation or if it’s both) to try to conceive a child, yeah. I hope Keith can have the family he wants one day! Rooting for him 💪
The phrase should be “money doesn’t prevent sadness”. You can be rich and still be miserable, however I know that almost every singe one of my problems in life would immediately be solved by having more money.
