From what I can tell this item DOES work, it is just WAY over-complicated to use. ESPECIALLY if you want to implement ALL of the features it promotes. 1) Only use the INCLUDED charge cable. 2) ONLY set it up for the most basic record functions. 3) Don't try to adjust viewing area / zoom, just place the camera somewhere that works well with the default zoom level. 4) If you are going to attempt features like night vision, and remote viewing, wait until you are familiar with it's basic functions, and then begin experimenting with the more advanced functions, via the app... Other then that, just be patient, and keep experimenting with the app...
The app is easy to connect but the challenge is that you can only view it when you are around the camera,you can't view it outside the camera location like other wifi CCTV,I will suggest the manufacturer should improve more on it so that it can be viewed anywhere the owner is.😊
Every time I use this in ap mode, I try to tap the camera button or the video button and the app fails, I have a 64gb SanDisk card in the camera, any suggestions?
few bigger problems for this camera are that its not able to connnect on mobile net or that you cannot switch on /off from distance so you can save batteries, no motion detector which can switch on/off if someone are detected !! but it is 5euro chinese shit so what you can expect
My app is telling me (in Chinese) that I do not have permission to view the videos in the album. I can view them in the app but I am unable to export them anymore. Anyone know why?
Is it possible that the video you were recorded in little stars app was can be hack and leak the video by that app who made that app that all your save videos is possible that the little stats app develpper has have a copy also?
I just cannot get the camera to connect. It says that I have to be connected to a hotspot but then have to disconnect the wifi?? It laso always says invalid ID number.... I am getting really frustrated..... It is connected with the USB port, the on off blue light is flashing but I just can't get it to connect. PLEASE HELP
I can only use it in AP mode. I can record and take pictures. I cannot figure out how to connect this camera to the internet so I can see it away from home. The videos I've recorded are very short. About minutes? With a 2gb card
This camera is crap, it doesn't even record to an sd card when you have one in it. I tried 3 different sd cards, pressed record for video and took photos. The app says saved to sdcard/ but plug the card into the computer to view it and there are no files saved on the card at all. it has a fake dvr installed that does not work. No infrared for night vision, no motion sensor detection, no pan tilt or zoom, no wide 1080p angle lens resolution camera as advertised. The resolution is poor at 640x480p
I purchased the same camera from Inspire Uplift for USD 67 and the thing will not connect to my router no matter what I do. I get the message 'Device only supports 2.46 WiFi in the band and 5g is not supported temorarily'. Temporarily or not, Inspire Uplift will not refund because, believe it or not, I opened the package. Besides, on/off button is now always on. I should add, though, corresponding with Inspire Uplift robot can sometimes be amusing :)
So true. At least this one is mostly just silent; the others I've seen have lame synth-heavy pop music in the background. I'm not even getting the camera wifi hotspot so I'm dead in the water at step one.
ANybody got the wifi address? LOST….the “ instructions”!… Edit26/12/21……panic over ….lol….installed the crap App, ..which seems updated…all OK and back in use. Its still useless for the supposed functions…but does OK as a cheap wiFi monitor for my lasers when cutting!
