It's all well and good until you add those neon tetras😞 Those fish need more swimming space and bigger group. Don't let their small size makes you think they are suitable for small aquarium A couple shrimp or more snail would be a better stocking choice for this aquajar
I do't own any but they're sometimes described as small fish good for small aquariums. I'd say that schooling fish should be in groups of at least 6 or more and need a bigger tank of maybe around 10 gallons.
Even tho it's a relatively big jar, I still dont think it's big enough to house any fish. I would only put in snails and maybe 3-4 shrimps but that's it.
Don't put fish in a unfiltered, unheated and small tank. Come on this is common knowledge by now. Shrimp and snails are ok if you know what you're doing. Neons are schooling fish and need a group of at least 5 and a lot of swimming space to school. I guarantee they didn't last a month at best in the tank.
