Aparentemente, o violão é um Di Giorgio Romeo da década de 1960, série ouro. Pode ser um Author 3, mas não sei só de olhar. Seu Jorge, te respeito muito como cantor, instrumentista e compositor, tenho orgulho de sermos do mesmo país.

Dificilmente. Isso ai deve ser um Antonio de torres. 80mil dólares ( se encontrar um com preço "bom" ) pra cima. Ele contou numa entrevista q qdo tava gravando um filme na Itália entrou numa loja de instrumentos e gostou muito de um violão e o dono olhou pra ele com indiferença com o olhar de q ele jamais teria dinheiro pra compra-lo discriminando-o e o tratou mal, ele saiu , depois de algumas horas voltou e comprou o instrumento, provavelmente deve ser esse violão aí. Esse som aí não saí de digiorgio , mesmo muito antigo , sai ? Nao sei, nunca toquei em um digiorgio dessa época mas parece uma reliquia enorme pelo visual e som , deve ser dos anos 1890 daí pra baixo, nao sei , pode até ser, será ?

He thought Seu was one of the best musicians performing his music in ways that far surpassed anything he comprehended when making it. Lots of interviews show him talking about not wanting to be the performer of his own music and he’d said Seu Jorge was the examplar of someone taking vocal/lyrical control of his content.

His approach to this song changes its entire feel. I actually heard Seu's version first, having not heard many bowie songs, and when i heard Bowie's version i felt as if they werent even the same song. Theres a sense of longing; sorrow and grief in Seu's version. I know the words are the same but this version just has a whole different feel entirely to it. Kinda like the end of a relationship, with one s/o trying to bring an end to all the fighting or something...i dont know thats what i feel from this.

actually, Seu Jorge wrote different lyrics to this song, so is more of a 'version' than a cover. Search the translation, you will like it!
