Geoff bringing the Underworld Bass, Layne bringing the insane beatboxing, Eli bringing the Rock God shrieks, Anthony bringing the vocal runs - and Cesar bringing more sass than should be legal for just one man to possess. What more could we possibly need to brighten our day?

It amazes me how Eli can go from looking like the sweetest guy in one video to looking like someone you don't want to come across in a dark ally in another.

All I can think when watching this is "what if my DnD party all multiclassed into Bard" and I'm LIVING for it

Anthony is the prince of runs, Eli's a rock god, Cesar's sitting perched like a smexy incubus, carrot lord Layne lays down the beats that make the world turn, while "dragonborn final boss" Geoff is slowly turning into a silver fox and I am HERE FOR IT.

I know it's small, but I freaking LOVE that you hear the bullet casing fall to the floor when geoff racks the invisible gun.

You know what? They might have a fighting chance next time they're kidnapped.

The first video I saw of them was their Moana medley; this was the second. I felt like Smalls in The Sandlot reading the comments and realizing Eli was in both - "oh my god, you mean that's the same guy??!!" 😂😂

OMG! I don't know what I was expecting...I thought "Seven nation army...ACAPELLA??" Of course...OF COURSE you guys were going to blow the top of my head off with it! Geoff..holy hell man! The bass line! My brain melted! I always say you all never cease to amaze me...and then you take it up 11 notches of amazement! Just WOW!💓💓 Cesar's voice is soooo perfect for this song! Eli blows me away every damn time! SO happy seeing Anthony again! What a voice! And Layne....HOW in the HELL do you do the voodoo that you do? My brain seriously imploded. Love you guys!

Knowing this bassline by heart, I knew Geoff was going to kill it... even went up an octave in the middle of the song the way it's done in the original. The original bassline is done on a guitar with an octave pedal... but VP has Geoff, who has his own, built-in octave pedal :D

Voiceplay are on another level this year. The hits just keep coming. Can't stop listening to this on repeat! Can't wait for the rest of the world to hear it!

Okay.. after approximately 1532 times listening.. I love this whole entire thing. Just from beginning to end. You guys are just so good at setting a scene for your music videos. I love so much that iconic bassline to start off with of course, which.. I knew would sound great, but I didn't realize just how much Geoff's voice would be just absolutely perfect for it. Eli and Cesar singing a bit more in their lower range as well, I really cannot sing their praises enough. They sound incredible and they blend so well in this, also together with Anthony, which I truly could not have imagined to fit so well with a song like this. Just so powerful, to combine that with Layne's ... I don't even know what to call it. Truly sounds that are out of this world bringing this to a whole other level. This arrangement is so interesting to me. I thought I knew this song, but this is like unearthing every other possible perspective. Crossing over into club or edm music, rock and pop music with the riffs and runs. What a masterful combination. I really like the choices that were made here. I can hardly believe it is the same song, when it clearly is, there's just so much awesome-ness in there. When you think you know a song, and you know what's coming, but there's actually no way to really know what is coming. Spectacular, really. Always a surprise with these guys. Not just the big picture, but also in the details. It remains a familiar song with so many new elements. Visually this video is very sleek, with such a great use of mostly natural lighting. Costumes are perfectly minimal but look SO good on all of you and the 'dirt' make-up is there to just finish it off with just the right amount. You nailed the perfect amount of menacing and threatening with the presence of weapons, though I would have loved to see you smash in some windows too, though, let's not condone violence or vandalism. *chef's kiss* What a masterpiece, fellas! What a great thing that I get to support something like this. Please keep doing songs you say you have no business singing. You are singers, you have business singing songs, do not let anyone else tell you any different, because holy cr*p you guys are just SO good. AND you look freaking bad-ass too.

Can we just take a moment to appreciate 1:39?? 😱 And, the way the song progresses, not changing tempo but *feeling* like it's changing tempo, as we start with no percussion but a pulse on 2 and 4, to a stronger feel with percussion on 2 and 4, leading to percussion on every downbeat...this makes my heart positively RACE by the end! This arrangement is incredible. That wall of sound near the end just blows me back in my seat. You craft these arrangements MASTERFULLY, Geoff. I love how you guys are always pushing the envelope with your work, whether it be percussion sounds I've never heard Layne make before, high screaming rock notes that Eli does seemingly effortlessly, Cesar's smooth delivery, Anthony's riffing...I'm continually in awe of you guys.

Wow!!! These guys are constantly stepping it up. Not just vocally but with the whole production. All of them are improving to a mind blowing blowing level of skill but Eli really stands out for for how well he's been leading with tenor since Earl left and then Geoff gets deeper and more clear with every song

i should have taken a picture of my eldest’s reaction to Layne’s beatboxing at 1’48. It was perfect. I expect almost all reactors to have the same when they listen to this… Layne was his favourite in this (as in My Mother Told Me)… ETA: even though I speak to my kids in English their native language is French so they don’t understand the words but they definitely understand the feel of the song, video and music. They asked why Antony didn’t have weapons and who they were going to fight. Told them Antony would slay the enemy with his vocals (though that works for all of them).

I love the EDM kind of feeling of this song, I was not expecting that at all but it fits this song so well. I loved hearing Cesar and Eli's lower range in this, they just sound so good in this😍And omgg Anthony killed it in this one, his runs are just so smooth. Geoff and Layne blew it out of the park with this one too, Geoff's bass in this and Layne's beatboxing are out of this world. Like I am so impressed by the sounds that Layne can make.
