"Your tale is finished, Erazor! Next time, try writing a better story!" Possibly one of the best lines in any Sonic game, in no small part due to how Darkspine Sonic delivers that line to Erazor Djinn after defeating him.
Honestly, when the game forces you to listen to this song EVERY SINGLE TIME, it can get very annoying. But when you don't listen to it that much and you come back from time to time to listen, it's one hell of a song and the chorus will always get me hyped.

This theme is damn underrated, it's so underrated that I litreally only heard it the first time in Smash 4 earlier this year and never heard it be brought up anywhere.
it's alright imo, not good but also not bad. my main problems are the instrumentation feeling a bit empty, and the vocals being a little quieter than the instruments at times as well as seeming like every vocal is the same note throughout the entirety of the track
Little me: *gets stuck in the tutorial* Also little me: *gets mad and never plays again* Older me: *tries to replay the game* Also Older me *finally passes the tutorial*
Well Yes OBVIOUSLY because think about it. What would be if the Seven Deadly Sins would be like playable character to this game. You know Each of the deadly sins in the chapter based on they sin like Snake Sins of Jealosly "Great Diane" taking Evil Foundry and fighting Ifrit Golem and the music from Dream Team playing in this "Size of Your Enemy" (I think) or Fox Sins of Greed "Ban The Undying" going to Pirate Storm to retrieve Aqua Ring from Captain Behemot and the Best One. Captain Of The Sevens Sins "Dragon Sins Of Wrath Meliodas" going Through Night Palace and taking on Erazor Djinn himself, and for the finale battle against THE CREATOR while Every Sins absorbing the world ring and after that inprison him together. For me I would Really and REALLY would like to see them in SATBK like main character coming to alternative version of Britannia and fighting against rest of the Sins that become the Hollow Knight in this Dimension.
It's mostly the forced motion controls which were dreadful and the horrible mission structure. I guess its also fair to mention that 7 rings in hand plays way WAY to much in the game.
@@bend7726 It's funny, I thought the game was okay, yet the only thing I hear is bad motion controls and the extra missions. Then you realize there's not really any other major problems in the game. The levels were really fun to play through at times, like when you had to chase down the gargoyles in Levitated Ruin while listening to an underrated soundtrack from an underrated game.
@@slashback37o you know what’s even funnier? Sonic and the Black Knight was rated much lower than this game despite it pretty much fixing every issue the game had.
@@xraiderblack1850Maybe it was because I rented and couldn't master it, but I remember it being harder and more boring at the same time (not in a bad way, I liked the level design and I think the story was good?)
It happened the exact same thing to me. Before, I was like... "meh, that's kinda bad..." but then, I played the game on dolphin, and beat the final boss.... And thus, I love that music so much.
Ever since I was 7, I've been trying to figure out why that part at 1:25 makes this song feel so special, even when I first heard it, and to this day, I still do not understand why.
Gameplay: 40/100 Level Design: 40/100 Art: 80/100 Story: 69/100 Music: 500/100 Edit: After replaying and 100% it, I found the controls to be decent. The skills make it much better as well. I up the score to 40/100

God... the memories when I played this at my summer camp in 2013. At the time, that was my second sonic game I’ve ever played, so I remember this song fondly (mostly by the main guitar).
Someone at Sega must have thought this song was the second coming of christ for how much you hear it. I haven’t played this game since I was like 7 and this song is still ingrained into my mind.
Seven Rings In Hand is my favorite Sonic song and Sonic And The Secret Rings is my favorite Sonic game because of the setting, characters, music and gameplay. People hate this game because of the controls and the auto running but and they say this song sucks because it's plays over and over again. But that's why I love this again and have never got annoyed by it and the controls I actually think are good and kinda different for a Sonic game so thanks so much for everything secret rings:)
I will forever remember the proper beat down that Sonic gave Erazor Djinn, the evil Djinn played with Sharah's heart, treating her like a slave and she really loved him. I'm glad she had Sonic as a good friend to back her up and save her world. 😄
I like how no matter how they twist Sonic's look to make him darker and more aggressive than he really is he still looks badass no matter what. Darkspine Sonic, Werehog, Dark Super, etc.
I always loved that about many of the sonic games. Incorporating their main theme song into the final boss with super sonic or something similar, either entirely instrumental or even just use the same thing. I felt so hyped as a teenager who loved this music so much just getting all pumped up to get through the final stretch. Sonic Unleased Xbox 360 version was probably the best final boss section for me!
I have a hacked Wii and I'm definitely putting this game on there. There party mode was better than Mario party for me, and the game holds so much of my childhood
Yeah, I think that about most sonic games. I don't like to admit it but the series has alot of bad games. BUT THEY ALL HAVE AMAZING MUSIC AND ARE SO FREAKING NOSTALGIC ::::::::::OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Dry Bones I't wasn't bad, just averagely good. Yeah i know it's kinda weird to control Sonic by tilting the Wiimote or that is slow and all that, but being slow from the get-go i think it was the intention of the developers, to get us accostumed to Sonic's move system so later on in the game when we upgrade Sonic's speed and other abilities we are already familiar with the control scheme, at least that's what i think. But i was grateful that in Black Knight we had to use the nunchuk and wiimote for more easy movement.
Does anyone else get that feeling where the song is too good and it almost has you tearing up? Hope that doesn’t sound too weird, unless I’m just feeling nostalgic
This is my 5k run song, I run to the beat of this song and manage to complete my 5k run in 23 minutes and 30 seconds! I love this song so much, the badassery of the verses and guitar mixed with the majestic fairy-tale like music in the chorus is spectacular. This is the most underrated vocal Sonic song.
I can’t un hear it now, it kinda does sound like a heartbeat not even gonna lie… pretty interesting even though it’s some instrument that makes those type of sounds.
Just got the CD soundtrack for this game today at 11:00a.m. and it's the Seven Rings In Hand: Sonic and the Secret Rings Original Sound Track CD and I'm listening to it while watching this! 8:25p.m. 11/14/2023
You don't think this game is good? You're right, it's not. BUT It is fun if you mastered the controls, like me. (Throws you a Wii Remote) Now go become a master at motion controls and come back.
Motion controls are an art. You can't just jerk the Wii Remote everywhere expecting a fluid result. You have to flow with the remote, making smooth movements as if the remote is an extension of yourself. Or, for lack of a better phrase, git gud.
I'm done pretending this game isn't amazing. Others' opinions aren't my opinions. I love it to death and as I get better at it I just learn how much you can do once you go with the learning curve instead of trying to play this like a different Sonic game.
The verses in the song are pretty strong in relation to the strides of the electric guitar. Especially, since the song ends off a verse, which is pretty cool.
3:54 Seven rings in hand speed through nights with feet in sand Seven rings in hand wonders all under command Seven rings in hand wild with just one single hand Seven rings in hand arrowed hearts catch fire now
This is so awesome 1:46 is forever cemented in my head, would just sit in the menu and listen to this. Major late 2000’s nostalgia. Spent many 2009 nights playing this lol (I know the game came out in ‘07) I know a lot of fans disliked this game, but I personally loved it. Clever use of the Wii’s motion control
Sonic and The Secret Rings is one of my favourite Sonic games purely because of the theme and setting of the Arabian Nights, so many Prince Of Persia vibes. Such an awesome concept which was ultimately let down by the controls. Whilst I could get to grips with them, I will admit they were too wonky and needed work
this game was so fun when i was a kid. i think i was able to make time slow as sonic. it was awesome. i couldn't unlock silver so i was sad but i got shadow. this game awesome
This one was always my favorite next to His World. Dad bought me a Wii and this in 2007. He made me a sonic fan too! If you play the game there is no way it isn’t going to get stuck in your head. It only gets played after every single thing you do lol
Aw man, this game's 15 years old now. It was by no means a good game, ok it may be a bad game but its nostalgic enough for me that I can overlook it... to an extent.
Something about this song, from the very first second of it, is so unserious to me. The strange enthusiasm, the inflection, the lyrics, it just makes me burst out laughing
I actually like this game, sure it controlled like garbage but the story and gameplay were still fun imo and once you get used to the controls and get more upgrades it becomes a lot of fun, still doesn't excuse the control but I hope they port this game someday to a newer console with better control that would be awesome same with Black Knight.
I played this after playing Sonic Forces. I might've hated this game so much as a kid, but playing this now? Holy crap I haven't had this much fun in a long time.
