This series came out great and makes me want to try using more paint to experiment with. I dont have a particular like or dislike for purple but it went so well with your other color choices. I think you have an excellent eye for color combinations.

I'm enjoying seeing these small format prints. Question: Have you ever tried Golden open paints for gel printing, and if you have what did you think of them?
@@artwhisperer88 I bought a small amount to try. It behaves more like oil-based printmaking ink. You do not get the textures that you do with regular acrylic. But you can roll it very thinly and evenly. Hear you on the cost! I bought small sample amounts to try out. I appreciate very much your sharing the paints you are using. I tried Amsterdam after seeing you and others using it and it has been pretty good for the kinds of prints I am making. I do not like the fluid Liquitex paints at all.
Hi, I love all your videos. I have a 8 X 10 gel plate and I would like to know how heavy is the cardstock you use. Is it 90 Lb. or less? and what about the finish, is it matt like a hot press watercolor paper?Thank you for your art and your answer. Oh and if you could talk about the music that you have in the background, I love it.
I use music from a subscription website called epidemicsound.com in order to avoid copyright issues. I thinj the weight of the card stock is 110 lb. because I find anything lighter will be too thin for my taste. I like matt finish paper.
Ha, I was just thinking the other day about how happy I am that you don't use much purple. I have an aversion to purple and have no idea why. It's the only color I really dislike.💜
Purple is the colour of Creativity, imagination and is meant to be a calming colour… I always find it interesting when people dislike a certain colour….Do you like Lavender as in the pretty perfumed plant?

@jdmosaics I love the smell of lavender but not the color in its pure form, however, I do wear a lot of lipstick and nail polish with hints of lavender like mauve lipstick and purplish grey nail polish. I kinda feel like purple is a very "look at me" color, and I'm quite an introvert.
