The Chesley Bonestell painting is from 1978 and is called "Formation of the Earth", it should measure 20x30 inches. This could be a reproduction or limited-run issue. His artwork is amazing, otherworldly.

I could be wrong, but I think the logic behind "the higher the number, the more it's worth", is that many electronics brands (maybe even all of them) start their numbers for a particular model with a lower number, and then increase that number each time a new version of that model comes out, because it has more, or different, or better functions than the previous versions of that model. ex. STR-100 might be a stereo receiver (STR) model and the version is 100. The following year that stereo receiver model has a cd player along with it and is model STR-200.

Seeing these units remind me of going through my dad's stuff. Which also gad his parents stuff from late 1920 through recent stuff. It looks dingy and dirty but there's is so much to learn going through units like these.

That golden globe thing that you found is a cigarette holder. An elderly woman that lived upstairs from us in the 1950s had one and when I opened it, it was full of cigarettes. Hers did not have an electrical cord though .

Just Jeff is correct on the value of the scrapbooks full of bookmarks. Believe it or not they are collectable. I sold 7 Ziggy bookmarks a few weeks ago for 50.00. I know i saw several of them when you were flipping through them. Also i believe Antioch? Is another one. Look on the backs unless they were glued in and then not so much. Looking forward to the next video.

To young Jack, take your time and ask, listen, and spend your money wisely, nice unit Rob and as you correctly profiled the vintage electronics paid for the unit and lessons to the up and coming storage unit buyer, I think someone like Jeremy Hales should hire Jack, he seems like a nice young man and you just have to look at the mentorship Jeremy taught the other kids, who are great examples of being good humble humans and now young parents, you can't buy that kind of humanity.
