These tastings are always brilliant and so educational!

You have to respect the difference between a MW and the rest of the people we see on here. For pure blind tasting they are probably the most qualified people in the world and only 400 in total. I'm not sure why but in blind tasting specifically they seem to out perform MS quite consistently, maybe it is due to a more complicated analytical approach as well as a more in depth blind tasting exam compared the the MS exam.

Does anyone find our noses and sense of taste like a super power? Imagine an alien that had no sense of smell/taste seeing us pick an object up and instantly being able to tell you where it's from, how old it is, what's in it, and so on. That's objectively so strange that we can do that.
