btw if you guys didn’t know, the reason why woozi wrote circles for wonwoo was because he lost his mum a month ago when that was filmed. you could see him crying there 😢 the members didn’t bother to do anything to him because they know wonwoo doesn’t like it. you could see minghao looking at him worried too 18:26 i love them so much :( and he also wrote a song called yawn for seungkwan because last year he was on hiatus for a long time because he lost a friend (moon-bin from ASTRO) 22:08 it was so sweet of jun to tell jeonghan to be careful of his arm because he had an arm injury that time no one loves seventeen more than seventeen 😞 their dynamic is so strong from the fact that they’ve been together for almost a decade

'Circles' was written by Woozi to comfort Wonwoo when his mother died in 2022. there is also a song called 'yawn' (sung by the vocal team) that woozi wrote for seungkwan when his best friend died last year. Woozi is one of the members who cannot express his affection for the members directly, so he makes songs as a form of expressing his heart.

So the reason why they got so emotional was because Woozi (the guy who cried) wrote this song for Wonwoo (the guy in glasses), whose mother had passed away a few months before this was filmed. And since all seventeen members grew up together since they were in middle school, they address each other's parents as 'mom and dad', so it had hit all of them hard along with some other stuff that kept going wrong in their lives. Woozi has mentioned in an interview that he wrote this song wishing that, "things would go back to the way it was and I promise I won't be greedy and ask for anything else if only things would go back to the way it was" It's actually one of their most lyrically acclaimed songs

If I may also add, when Woozi did a commentary on all their songs in their Best Of album, he said that he wrote Super (Sonogong) cause he wanted to somehow give the members power cause their morale at that time was real low (around 2022, when they were having personal problems including Wonwoo's loss). It was also why he wrote F*ck My Life cause he came to a point that he felt like they just wanted to curse at the world. He said miraculously, after they released their album FML and track Super, things got resolved and the situation, better. Their album FML won the Album of The Year award notably in 2023 MAMA awards 🥲 they finally won a Grand Prize after 8 years! Really glad you enjoyed this video. It really makes you feel connected with their human side, as you've said. By the way, their last song AJU (VERY) NICE is probably the crowd's fave concert encore song. If you're familiar with the K-Pop group "Astro", then you'll understand the great loss fans felt when Moonbin suddenly passed away last year. Moonbin and Seungkwan were best friends from childhood, and it absolutely devastated him to where he had to go on hiatus for a few months. I'm mentioning this because someone below commented on Woozi's writing "Yawn" for Seungkwan. It's a beautiful comparison to loss. When our brain doesn't get enough air, we yawn. Woozi compared losing someone you love to losing the very air of our heart...and thus "Yawn".

Regarding Woozi. He doesn't really drink because he says that it's supposed to make you feel good but he doesn't get drunk and he doesnt really feel good when he drinks so he just avoids it mostly. He's also one of the quiter members and the one that shows least physical affection but his love language is writing songs for the members when they're going through stuff. He doesn't say "I love you" often but they know and we know how he feels. 😊 For the song Circles, when they sang it live that time, Woozi cried every time at the final part where he does the lalala part alone. He couldn't get through it. It was very emotional. The song itself uses a children's choir for the other lalala parts, it's beautiful. 😊

In Korean culture, they put spoons, chopsticks or openers in beer bottles usually after pouring soju in it and they swirl it with the spoon, they even do it to use it as makeshift mics. The soju ad is IU lmao and that is their staff in the background drinking with them

Poor Hoshi was drunk before the filming even began; so when he started crying with Woozi, he just couldn't stop! Hoshi may be one of the most chaotic members, but he has a heart as big as the world. And he loves Woozi. They've been friends forever. Woozi doesn't show his emotions unless it's really profound and deep for him, and his heart broke for Wonwoo losing his mother (April 2022). So Woozi wrote "Circles", and to this day he has an extremely difficult time performing it live without breaking down. In fact, during Caratland last year, he became so emotional when they sang it, he just stopped, walked to the back of the stage, and just cried. All 3 performances of Caratland! Woozi is VERY introverted and doesn't talk a lot; and he's said he expresses himself through his lyrics/songs. Just the same, when Woozi loses it, so goes everyone else! I just love these young men! ALL of them are my bias! Another fun fact: Woozi is actually a PK...as in preacher's kid. His dad was a pastor in Busan at one time. Not saying that's the reason he didn't drink for years, but who knows? He said he just doesn't like the way it makes him feel afterwards, and he needs all of his wits to compose/produce. So yeah...this was an amazing moment for Seventeen when Woozi decided to take a drink, as he felt he needed it to explain why he wrote "Circles". This last year during Nana Tour, he finally let his hair down and began enjoying wine with the members while they were in Italy. It shocked everyone, but they loved it! He still doesn't drink much, but at least he's allowing himself to relax when they're together.
