lmao svt was the first kpop group I've ever stanned and when I started watching other groups dance practices my standards were off the charts bcuz of svt 😭
i think fallin flower message is one of my favorite, its like saying "im a falllen fllower, i was broken but when i met you i bloom again and now im falling, but its okay because im falling with you/to you" its literally beautiful, i feel "bloomed"
I’m so glad you’re getting more into Seventeen. Thank you for supporting! When it comes to their Japanese singles, Seventeen literally never miss and are VERY popular in Japan. Fallin’ Flower is one of their most loved tracks by all fans, because of the instrumentals, vocals and meaning behind the song. The song is sentimental, meaning “Now I’m a falling flower, but that fall is not the end, but a new beginning.” One other thing about this song is the choreography, where they are literally flowers/vines during majority of the song. Intertwining into one another. Can’t wait to see you react to more Seventeen and experience greatness with song production and choreography.
This song is very meaningful to carats, but basically they’re comparing themselves to flowers right? Flowers are beautiful for the time when they bloom, but quickly wilt and are destined to fall away eventually. The flower symbolizes their time as Seventeen. Each of the members represent a petal, in which they as a whole create the flower of Seventeen. Their lives are inexplicably intertwined, and they show that through the mv. Prior to this comeback (specifically Fear era, which you should definitely react to!), they also talked a lot about their fears and uncertainty for the future as artists and as individuals. They’ve talked about the future a lot in these recent years and making sure to always talk with carats, especially now since their contracts are coming up. As Seventeen, they’ve finally bloomed into their own flower. They’re living in the most beautiful and happiest times of their lives right now. But what happens after? What comes next? They don’t know for sure, but they want to spend as much time as they can with us (carats) before it’s too late, so they won’t take us for granted. They’ll live each moment like it’s their first and last. When they eventually close this chapter of their lives, their flower will fall away, but they hope that when that happens, carats will “catch” their fallen petals and remember them for who they were, so that they can forever bloom in our hearts. If we can remember our time with them, they’ll be grateful to have just been apart of our lives, our youths, to have been Seventeen.
for me fallin flower even tho it was a japanese release was one of the best songs ever released in terms of choreo vocals visuals lyrics video aesthetics and basically every music related term .....by any k-pop group
I love the reaction and it's so fun seeing you slip into the diamond life. I'm glad you likef their songs. Btw, they performed fallin flower together with Kidult, and Fearless, their side track in TMA. You might want to see it. They showcased their range there. Here's the link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-M-9HdkYVgaw.html
If we're talking about synchronization, we can't skip seventeen. this group really up there over the others. their performances are also so satisfying to watch, they served us with amazing vocals and choreo!
This choreo is one of the most beautiful from Seventeen IMO. The first time I saw it, I had the same reaction. Stunned. It felt more than a choreo. It was such an intricate artwork, executed perfectly by so many talented, hard-working young men. Impeccable, superb artistry!
So, yes: this is the platonic ideal of Lyricalteen. Other songs may be in the same vein, but this is the ultimate. I'm glad you watched the dance video, too.
I know you're trying to do the chronological order of their MV's but since you've done 2/5 of their Japanese mv's, I'd recommend you do them all now. Call call call, happy ending and 24H are the ones you havent done yet 😁 Thank you so much for doing this! I've seen you deep dive into NCT and I'm so happy you're now doing Seventeen. They're both my ult groups! 😍
The best thing about being both a CARAT (Seventeen’s fan) and a ONCE is that they always comeback in the same month. Well-rounded groups who have the best Japanese Discography. They are also friends who support each other. So happy to see you slipping into the diamond life!
This song can be interpreted in different ways. If you look at the lyrics at surface level, it's a love song, likening the feeling of falling in love with someone to the cycle of a flower blooming then its petals falling to the ground. If you add the MV's symbolism to it, the lyrics could be interpreted as finding a beauty in "falling" (=failures or hardships) and that more beautiful things can be waiting for you after the setbacks.
Tbh no matter how many times I listen and watch Fallin’ Flower I still get amazed every time. The song is a Masterpiece. I recommend watching 24H next you’ll be blown away!
I'm so happy youre reacting to the dance practice as well as the MV! Now you see why all Carats asked you to! Could you maybe please react to the Adore U dance practice as well since you already did the MV? Its so cute and fun.
Seventeen is powerhouse group.. visuals, vocals, rapping, performance, choreography.. also they are self producing group.. from composing, producing thier own song and self choreographing it
I’m so glad you’ll be watching the dance practices along with the MV’s! You’re so right, there’s an element to the choreography and their delivery which just elevates the songs to a whole other level - I’ve found myself liking some songs more once I’ve seen the dance practices, I feel their movement and musicality allows me to hear/see parts of the song that I previously hadn’t noticed or appreciated❤️
I love your reaction so much. The MV, choreography and lyrics come together to deliver the story they want to portray. Every dance step was taken into consideration in order to convey the message they want to deliver. For me the lyrics is a message for the member and for the carats as well. And yes, this is art.
Actually, SVT has no bad content. No cap, man. And they have a song for every vibe and feeling, the versality is real. The best is thing is they work on their own content, from the conceptualization to the songs to the choreo.
waahhh thank you for reacting to SVT again !!! I love your reaction but yeah SVT is like that they said they don't only my music that is satisfying to listen to but also satisfying to watch,, I'm excited foryour GoSe reaction hehe,
You should react to SEVENTEEN's Getting Closer and Hit too. The MV and choreos aren't aesthetically beautiful like Fallin' Flower's but they are 🔥 It will show you how diverse SEVENTEEN is as a group.
I just found your channel through this video and I already love you, haha Thank you for reacting to Fallin Flower, their japanese songs deserve so much more love
An atiny here, I'm not a Stan of svt but this song is my favourite! I love everything about it, and I respect the guys a lot, for the talent the beauty and everything, I hope they give us more of their art in the future.
Fallin Flower is definitely one of the most beautiful MV's and videos in general I've ever seen If you're looking for another incredible MV I recommend Superhuman by NCT 127 :)
Seventeen literally have the best Japanese songs you'll ever hear and their synchronization makes the choreography 100 times better and satisfying to watch
This is my favorite song from svt and I'm so glad I found a reviewer that has similar taste as me! I love Thanks and Home also...think I found a soul mate
I've watched a lot of K-pop reaction videos and this by far is the best one yet. Everyone just is shocked and gives the typical tropes but you put aside the culture and just reacted and watched the beauty and effort that was presented. The language that something is presented in shouldn't dictate the reaction to it, because if it is good it should invoke emotion. You showcased this flawlessly and as someone who is super analytical but whose knees buckle at amazing art, I will continue to keep coming back to see what other gems you find.
i like your reaction because i can tell you're genuinely liking seventeen and their art, and that makes me so happy 🥺 i hope you continue checking them out, you will never regret having their music in your life 💞💎
This is my first time watching your reactions and I really like your very genuine reactions and smiles! I had a good time! (maybe also quite a lot because of the heavy praise towards Seventeen, but.. you know..)
