When they had an expert breaking down their personality types in going svt, the expert said he wondered why Wonwoo decided to become a celebrity because it doesn’t fit his personality. Seungkwan said that Wonwoo was too handsome not to become a celebrity 😆 either way I’m glad he found the confidence to be on stage and I really think having all the guys with him did help him do that!
Yes this show gets real and especially the next episode where u can see what S.coups went through. S.coups 2 yaers ago in the middle of Seventeen tour he stopped promotions and went on a hiatus to receive treatment for anxiety and u can see S.coups talk about it in the next episode
2019 was a really tough year for seventeen. they were touring non stop at different cities and countries which explains all the injuries and sickness, but above all they were dealing with business behind the scene on how to take their brand to the next stage, and various companies are already interested in acquiring pledis at that point. then the pandemic hits, and so many things happened but they all did managed to renew their contract and stay for a few more years which is a significant feat since there are 13 of them different individuals with different expectation and background in life. also thank you for reacting to them again. really appreciate it
Wonwoo's mindset and how he view things is really admirable. He definitely communicates in a way that he is comfortable with (lyrics, words, acts of service) and gives his best for the team, family, and Carats. 2:20 I would say they are all overall really close with each other but incase you're curious... here are the most popular/common tight friendships in svt 1. Scoups, Jeonghan, Joshua - 95z - Jeonghan and Joshua are especially really close with each other (act kinda like soulmates). They entered the company around the same time and leaned on each other often. Jeonghan always says he's closest with Joshua out of everyone but he's really close with all his members. Jeonghan and Scoups radiates more "parents" energy since they are the 2 oldest in the group. They share a lot of common interest so they're bond is really strong. Joshua and Scoups are also really really close! 2. Jun and Minghao - They're both from China which I guess contributes to why they could easily lean on each other. Minghao said in a recent magazine interview that he's confident he understands Jun best out of everyone in the world. 3. Hoshi and Woozi - They bicker a lot but we know it's all out of love. They're both unit leaders so it's also something they could bond over. Hoshi mentioned that Woozi is the first person he looks for If he needs an advice. 4. Woozi and Scoups - They trained together in the company for a really long time. I feel like they're the two people who understands each other's burdens and pressure the most. 5. Mingyu and Wonwoo - They were close since the beginning and had always shared a dorm with each other. Even now when the other members are all living alone, they both still decided to live together. Wonwoo mentioned that Mingyu makes him feel very loved vice versa. 6. Hoshi, DK, Seungkwan - BSS is a popular trio in Seventeen since they're usually in charge of the variety/comedic roles in the group. These 3 always have the best moments with each other. 7. Vernon, Seungkwan, Dino - Maknae line - Vernon and Seungkwan are born in the same year. Both are oddly very compatible with each other despite having polar opposite personalities. Seungkwan took an MBTI test three times and got the same one as Vernon in all 3 of them. Dino is close to both Vernon and Seungkwan cause the 3 of them are the youngest. Dino has a very bright personality ~ These are just some examples If anyone is curious about their dynamics. All Seventeen members are really close with each other and so you can put any 2 members from the group as a duo and they'll still get along perfectly! Family indeed!
Just to clarify the other members aren’t living alone right now! They’re still living in their initial 3 dorms but Mingyu and Wonwoo moved out to a different apartment and are sharing that apartment together
Exactly, to me the most powerful relationships in Seventeen are Hoshi/Woozi, The8/Jun, Seungkwan/Dino, Mingyu/Wonwoo, Joshua/Jeonghan. All of these duos definitely have some soulmates/brotherhood energy. But it's only when all 13 of them get together that the group's energy feel complete. Seriously, if anyone of the members is missing, I always "feel it" super fast. I guess its thanks to all the efforts they put in building their bond so that no one felt neglected.
2:20 I think it's pretty interesting because I have seen wonwoo taking the lead when it's the more quiet members, there's a going svt when half of them go to an arcade and wonwoo instantly takes the role of mc, it's so cute 🥺 and it makes me feels so proud that he has the confidence to do that
2:14 I don’t know if you missed this, but Donghae and Eunhyuk aren’t Seventeen members. They are members of Super Junior, an older group (10 years Seventeen’s seniors) that took them under their wing after debut because they reminded them of themselves (they were also 13 members).
In Korean there is a hierarchy of age, so you need to be respectful and formal with people that is older than you and expect that younger people be respectful and formal to you, also you have to take care of the younger one. So when you share the same birth year that other people you tend to be closer to them because you are on the same level. Wonwoo, Hoshi, Jun and Woozi all born in 1996, so they are really close. Also that's why some idols becomes friends with other idols from different groups, like Mingyu, DK, The 8 (seventeen) Bambam Yougyeom (Got 7) Jongkook (BTS) Eunwoo (Astro) JaeHyun (NCT) they have a really close friendship they all born in 1997. It's called 97z friends.
it’s interesting how you pointed out Wonwoo locking eye contact with whoever he was talking to (the interviewer in this case) bc I was lucky to join his fansign videocalls a few times and noticed this as well. He would often look to the side to think of an answer but at the end, always locked eyes with me. He’s also very attentive when listens to other people talking to him too

i wouldn't say jun is the more outgoing one than wonwoo and vice versa because both of them are just in the middle. i think they're the chill kind of outgoing guys who spend time with friends moderately but still values their alone time. for example, during their world tour, wonwoo has a complete attendance iirc to every after-concert dinner that hoshi posts while jun was there for like 1-3 (?) times only (jun explained that he was removing makeup whenever they had a dinner lol). on the other hand, jun is more likely the one who enjoys going to interesting places such as cat cafes, fishing stuff like that. i feel like wonwoo is more intimate with his hobbies and is very reserved but not in a bad way! looking forward to more of your reaction HTR episodes!

could you watch seventeen pre-debut videos? the boys kind of grew up together so you can see how the relationships developed and individuals personalities changed and matured. There are also lots of funny confusing moments.
