oh my goodness! I was asleep during all of this, my mom tried waking me up but I was too tried I guess. My sister didn't understand how I could sleep through it, and seeing how bad everything was the next day I was very confused on the severity of the thunderstorm. Than you for posting this video! Felt a bit out of the loop.
I'm from McAllen and the storm was chaotic, most of the damages me and my dad found were mostly trees, hell one tree fell on top of a pickup truck, another tree fell on the roof of an elementary school, the power in our house was out from 12 AM to 11 AM. They had cancel school a few days later because of the storm, and let's not forget the infamous 2 gas stations that got knocked over.
Hi Bryan, the damages were tremendous and extensive in private and commercial properties plus the city infrastructure in McAllen and surroundings cities great damage was inflicted. There was no electricity for 4 days in 40 thousand homes in this county only, according to the news report.According to the news some areas had up to 3 inches of rain plus hail and winds up to 100 mph. The storm lasted almost an hour.
@@reubenarevalo.m6357 yeah I passed by the collapsed gas station, fallen trees and destroyed fences were a common sight. Also during the storm, the hail and wind were pushing and shaking the windows like it was going to break. Luckily, the only damage in the yard was one fallen tree and no other damage.
