Our largest coverage stream of the year included a tornado on the ground in Illinois as our CPN's chased the storms back into Michigan. Widespread gusts to 60 mph were recorded in Michigan, where places along and south of I-94 saw the worst of the damage. 2-4" of rain also fell, causing flooding problems for Benton Harbor, Kalamazoo, Battle Creek, and Marshall. No tornadoes in Michigan, but there was a moment where it was close near Sturgis. Lightning was also the theme as multiple cloud-to-cloud bolts danced across the sky at Ryan's place and view Drew out at Lake Michigan.
