Initially, I never liked Snape due to his rude behaviour. I considered him heartless. But it was in the seventh part that I realized that Snape was truly a legend . There was always a reason behind his rude remarks to Harry.😎
Severus was a legend indeed. Even Gryffindor house recognizes him as a hero. Snape was hard on harry, but it is clear to me now that he was this way for more reasons than the memory of James. He also did this to harden harry as he knew he couldn't always be there to protect Harry. And in the final fights, it was made clearer than ever that severus was also a genius. And he put his knowledge to good use, using it to work in secret with Dumbledore while tricking the dark lord into believing that he was on Voldemort's side. Severus was indeed so trusted by Voldemort that he knew everything that happened, and he used this against him. Professor Severus Snape was indeed the James Bond of the wizarding world, one of his smartest quick thinking demonstrations was when he used Minerva's spell to dispose of the carrows, already weakening the dark lords offenses before Voldemort had even arrived. Severus was a legend indeed. And legends never truly die. Farewell, Professor Snape. And thank you. Fifty points to Slytherin.
Severus Snape is a legend. He had to go through so much in his life. My heart broke into so many pieces when it was shown that his loyality would always be there for Lily and Harry. It really is Heartbreaking that he had to die.
The first moment I realized Severus was a truly good person at heart in the movies specifically, was when lupin transformed and his instinct was to protect the students he disliked the most in the school. If he was truly evil. He could have saved his own skin and ran. But his first thought was to put the kids behind him. Truly a great character

Severus was literaly all about defence. He had never harmed a soul, and when he first killed someone it was a mercy kill Dumbledore had asked him for. All he did was protect the kids, over and over again. OK he was snarky, yes, but he couldn't let anyone find out he was a double agent, and he had to deal with a LOT of childhood trauma which Harry knew very well to bring back up again, many times. To me, Snape was the true hero. And I am beyond heartbroken that Alain is gone for more than 8 yrs. He should ve gotten til he was a 100 years old, he deserved more time, a longer life, to celebrate and be happy. Such a beautiful person, we should learn from him.

Everyone is saying how they hated Snape in the beginning but loved him at the end because he's a hero and then there is me who hated Harry Potter from the begining for obvious reasons because he was an arrogant ass who enjoyed hurting people and I liked Snape because he wouldn't put up with Potter's 'strutting around the castle like he owned it'

He couldn't ask Voldemort to spare Harry! Snape's lucky he said he'd spare Lily! Harry was the reason he was going after the Potters. That's why Snape went to dumbledore.he was to keep them safely hidden, but their so called friend, Peter pettigrew betrayed them.
