Both came out so beautiful, I especially loved the needle point results, it was so delicate. I have hoops for my 2 daughters and they practice with plastic crewels so far. I look forward to having them begin with a real crewel, their own thimble, then maybe use their own art to create. (I use my husband's RU-vid account lol) - Evelyn, nice to meet you

I think this would definitely work for a soft cover and keep it protected. I made a cover for my husband's soft cover Bible years ago and it has held up great :)
Beautiful sweetheart. Such a great project to make or gift. I did a felted bookcover years ago with cut out felt wolf howling at the cut out moon against cut out felt trees all hand sewed on. It is still going strong allbeit looking a bit old. I love the embroidery as I am currently loving all and every thing embroidered. God bless you.❤

I love the linen embroidered one so much! My bible isn't a hardcover it's a soft cover. Do you think I can add some cardboard or something in for stability into the cover?

I love how timely it is that you searched this :) For the soft cover, you could do it either way: add cardboard or a thick chip board in between the fabrics or you could even omit the cardboard and the cover would still work on your soft Bible. I created a cover for my husband's soft Bible years ago and it is still holding up!
