I love your videos. I know you must be very busy, but PLEASE 🙏 try to post more videos and don't keep us waiting sooooo long. I have been watching you for years. I ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ your channel.
I only discovered your channel a couple of days ago and I am so impressed with the great tutorial and downloadable pattern. Made this bathrobe for my little grandson in less than 4 hours. It looks so cute, I'm gonna make more! Thank you Dana!
Hello Dana, here in Germany we are missing you ! ! I hope you and your family are well and you are not sad about whatever. I send your X and O from cold Germany. God bless you.
Dana! I literally squealed when the notification came that there was a new video! You have been my sewing mentor! Just started sewing in March. I have made my daughter a ton of skirts thanks to you and have also made a bunch of the reversible boho bags. I may need to try this robe, but I think I’m going to give the stripey quilt a go first! Thank you so much!
Aw thanks! That makes me so happy to hear. And yea, that's sort of my sewing vibe...do what works for you: make as perfect or imperfect as you like. :) Thanks for watching Esmee! - Dana
Dana your videos are my absolute favorite! I was so excited when I found this new one! It was like Christmas! I will be making these for my 3 little daughters.. and myself for our weekly pool trips.
Hi Dana - I love the towels you used for this robe!!! So pretty. It turned out so good. Glad that I’m not the only one that wraps the bias tape around the item and just sews. It works for me! I do it on lots of things! Great tutorial as always.
Your videos are positively joyful! And you make it look so easy! The colors and patterns should be called 'Endless Summer' because they are so bright be and cheerful! Thank you for sharing.
Thanks! I'm glad you remember my Boardwalk Fabrics! Sorry I haven't uploaded in a while. I do plan to share more! Life has just been busy. But thank you for checking in with me...you are sweet :) - Dana
Yesssss! Omgsh I’ve been browsing fabric to make our kids robes! Now I have the most important part… the pattern haha! Thanks for uploading! You’re like a mind reader!❤️
You can definitely do that! Use a jacket, robe, or something you own to draft up a pattern in your size! You can make it from so many different fabrics too! It's really fun :) - Dana
Love this “easy” pattern. Love all your videos! Thank you. I am still a novice at sewing but your videos are easy and follow. Will try this robe for Xmas presents. Do you have the pattern for adult sizes?
Thanks! Sorry I'm slow getting things uploaded! Too many interests and things going on, but I'll keep posting when I can :) Thanks for watching! - Dana
I was thinking of doing this project and your video came up by coincidence. Beautiful. Just curious as to why you made the hood lining in cotton rather than Terry cloth.
You could do it either way. I thought the cotton fabric was a cute coordinating print and a nice way to finish up the raw edges of the terry cloth without adding too much extra bulk in the hood.
I would love to make one for a teen who wears women’s M-L. I assume your pattern doesn’t go that big. Will it work to just print the pieces out larger, since robes aren’t fitted perfectly anyway?
Hi Dana! How do you like your Baby Lock Brilliant sewing machine for quilting? well, and sewing? Can you suggest a nice assorted colors sewing thread there's so many out there?! !
I made the bias tape! It's so easy to do. I have a video that walks you though all the steps here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9TxwfCWGUkY.html
Heyyy Dana. I have a doubt. Can adults make this robe for themselves? Anyways I have sowed so much. Including scrunchies to masks. If I wear any outfit I made it. Thanks to you. I love your videos. Hopefully you can answer my question. Sorry for the late comment by the way! I have watched all your vids about 100 times. My download list is full of your videos. ❤
Hi Dana just found you ! omg this is amazing, I am a new sewer, and love your easy to understand tutorials, I was wondering could you make this for an adult ? if so how would I adjust the pattern? I am going to get your pattern so wondered and also do you need a certain type of needle for sewing terry cloth? last question, what ruler do you use ? it looks easy to read. thanks Gina in Ireland x
Yes, Dana, could you maybe also do a pattern (or do you already have one?) for older kids? I'd love to make this for my soon to be 9-year-old daughter!
@@heatherhoward8064 I know! I'm so sorry! I've always wanted to expand the pattern, just haven't had time to do it. You can definitely expand to make larger sizes, it just takes a bit of trial and error. Use a jacket or something that you already own as a guide to gauge how wide to expand the pattern pieces :) - Dana

I was extremely happy to see another video on your channel (finally😜). You made my day, thank you so much. I have watched all the videos on your channel atleast once. Thanks for making sewing so much fun! I'm incredibly grateful ❤️
This robe was for my 8/9 year old daughter...but the pattern in my shop only goes up to size 5. I had to adjust my own pattern a bit to make it larger....I just drew the sides and other pieces out a bit. It's an adventure when doing that :) Here's the pattern if you want to see the sizing: shop.madeeveryday.com/products/beach-robe
No, I don't have larger sizes. Sorry! You could try to expand the pattern yourself...drawing the lines out larger, but I don't have instructions for doing that. It's a good learning experience though! You could use a hoodie or jacket that you own as your guide for sizing.
Thanks Connie :) I know. I was off being a substitute teacher this year for my kids' schools. And now it's summer so it's harder for me to get online. But I still have videos to post and share! Thanks for checking in on me :) - Dana
