I don’t grow my own garden anymore, but I do get my produce locally from Amish families. And this time of year my favorite thing to eat is cucumbers, red onions and tomatoes, covered in balsamic vinaigrette dressing. So so good, I look forward to this time of year just for that salad!
@adonicamae that sounds wonderful. I make that salad as well. We don't have any Amish where I am that I know of but it would be great if we did. I love the Amish breads and cheeses. My sister and I would plan our trips to go near Amish or Mennonite establishments to get food items.
I wish I could find Amish butter here but I think we might have found a place that is about 4 hours away that we can purchase it. My sister and I will plan a trip around places we want to go and purchase things such as that.
New subscriber. I hope to join in on the next sew along. I’ve got to finish up a few projects that I have in progress or at least to a certain point. I also do not buy backing and binding until the top is finished. I love your term “smash the stash”. My pressed flowers top is done. I just need to find time to quilt it; after I finish quilting my grandson’s quilt.

Love the way you organize & process your projects. I do have my project sorted & bagged 😆 its a start. I'm working on sorting my tons of yarn & my fabrics. Then i need to put my sewing table together...attach the "legs" & set up my sewing machines. Its just so hot...ughh I do not like south Louisiana summers. The humidity is 1000% 😂 So I watch RU-vid & procrastinate...until evenings.
@paulacox902 thank you. My husband works off and I am an empty nester. However, I do have grandbabies that I may keep on Friday's now. I try to keep busy and keep moving.
It's not really clutter when it is organized. Right now I do have clutter because I am clearing out my house and trying to decide what to donate, throw away or keep. My donate pile has filled my vehicle several times but mainly clothes items my children didn't take with them. I am working my way to seasonal bins to downsize them. Small baby steps but it is getting there.
