Tutorial on how to sew and embroider a fabric composition notebook cover with a zipped pocket.
Fabric Measurements:
Composition Notebook - 9.75" x 7.5"
Outer cover fabric - cut 2 - 8.5" x 10.75"
Fusible fleece - 16" x 10.5"
Lining - 16.25" x 10.75"
Inside sleeves, cut 2 - 8" x 10.75"
Embroidery design - max 4" tall and 7" wide
Main pocket fabric - 8.5" x 8.5"
Pocket topper fabric - 2.5" x 8.5"
Zipper tabs, cut 2 - 2" x 2"
Nylon Zipper 7" or longer (you can cut it)
Light to midweight fusible interfacing (like sf101) - 4" x 8"

I had watched this earlier. I had to search Facebook to find the post again. While watching, opened up a text document and typed out full instructions. This is so cute. Need to make several as part of Christmas gifts.

I find sewing zippered bags and notebook covers to be easier than making them in the hoop. The unicorn design is from Ohmycs.com.

I imagine it would, you could cut the outer and liner fabric 1/2” wider or so to accommodate it. Just fold the book closed and make sure the fabric fits all the way around the cover with room for the seam allowance on each side.
