Did not get straps in my package ,or the webbing is what you called it. My husband bought my pattern for me for mothers day is it some thing that was missed in my package?
just made this tote and LOVE it. was dead easy to make thank you.. but its Huge :) -- do you have a pattern for something similar in idea but at Half this size?

Hello Alicia, You need one total binding strip that measures 46" of 2-1/2" strip. Because quilting fabric is typically 40" to 42", you'll need to join two 2-1/2" strips to equal the 46". Since you don't want the joining spot to land too close to the end, it's better to join a couple strips that are closer in size. For example a 30" + 16" rather than 40" and 6". It's always nice to add a few extra inches for joining as you will always trim off the extra. Hope this helps.
