In this video I explain how to do fit adjustments for a custom fit with the Goober Pea Designs slipper boot patterns, so the ankle (and calf on the knee high boot option) fits perfectly even if the ankle or calf measure a different size than the foot.
There are two patterns - Rocky Mountain Slipper Boots for woven fabrics, and Canmore Cuddle Boots for stretchy knit fabrics - but these techniques and options are applicable to both patterns. They are identical except for the size of the pieces, as the fit must be tighter in stretch fabrics for the boots to stay up.
