Hey, awesome first project! Congratulations- pro tip- with most of fabrics you should beware of the thread running while cutting the parts otherwise you will have warped fabric with more elastic fabrics after washing ( I always wash the fabrics before working with them) there’s always shrinkage in the process. just for a little bit of clarity about the yokes on pants, the yokes do add some length to the pants, but the yokes also (which may seem unnecessary) allow the top back of the pants to conform better to a person's body. a person's ass isnt a square block, so the yokes conform to the top curvature of your ass-waist
