Sewing an Elven Ren Faire Bodice and Blouse 

Well it took longer than I wanted it to, but I finally finished the first 2 pieces of my Renaissance Faire costume for this year! I was suuuper in need of new garb as my old stuff mostly doesn't fit, and wanted to make it myself this time since I've gotten a lot of sewing practice since I bought new stuff. So of course I had to tackle Butterick B4669, which I think at this point almost everyone has a version of for their bodice/stays. This year, I went for a very elven look for both my husband and I, so lots of leaf motifs and embroidery and metallics for this one. At the time I was making this, we only had 6 days to go and unfortunately I had to cut a few garments for the year but all the necessary ones got done, thank goodness! What is your favorite type of ren faire garb?
