Sewing Butterick B6378 - A classic easy blouse
#sewing #howtosew #sewingtutorial #fridaysews
Hi Everyone and Welcome Back to My Bucolic Life Channel. Meet my new sewing project.
This is an easier and very comfortable pull over type blouse. It offers a variety of neck/collar options and lengths. I, of course, did my own thing a few times along the way but it turned out very well. I hope you like it,
Marie

I love 'classic' - and it looks lovely on you, Professor Marie! I have a similar blouse that I still wear, that I've had since it was new in the 1980s, in a soft cream georgette. It is ultra-comfortable to wear and I love it as much today as I did them. 'Classic' never goes out of style, I reckon, so certainly makes for a 'cheap but doesn't look it' wardrobe when you're starting out on a tight budget. :-) As for the riding skirt - I would really love to see a video on that too, please.

Another great make Marie and you have also shown that we don't need expensive fabric to make a nice garment ❤❤

I love how you explain why you mark dots or other markings and if they apply to the pattern vie you’re making 😁

Nice variety of options in this pattern. Don’t you hate the mystery stain! I’m always finding one on a top or pants. Thank goodness for Dawn dish soap as a pre-treatment for laundry. It takes out most things-when you remember to use it.🥴 I have used a highlighter to mark all the instructions for the particular view I’m doing. It’s saved my sanity.

A very classic style, yet not too complicated to make. I like your sleeve finish choice. I think they go well with the tie, both having a draped look.

It’s an American pawpaw, Asimina triloba, the American papaw is a small deciduous tree native to the eastern United States and southern Ontario, Canada, producing a large, yellowish-green to brown fruit that is sweet, with a custard-like texture, and a flavor somewhat similar to banana, mango, and pineapple.

I love that blouse, it looks so good. Who knew muslin could look so good. I do have a question, what is the name of the white stuff you put in sleeve. I think you said wiggin, but I've never heard that word before. The sewing gods were difinitely with you with the grease drop. Thanks for another great video.

I wondered when you put the knife block on the board and pulled out the sizzors if that’s not how the stain happened…?
