Hello
Well here’s my little vlog that I started nearly two weeks ago! Just sewing chat about my makes and what I’ve been up to.
Also I thought I’d try and promote some discussion on what hinders our sewing - remember these are my thoughts and feelings and will be different to those of others, but they are here to promote discussion.

I’m taking a break AND sewing at the same time, LOL! I’m enjoying my quilting retreat and taking a break to watch your Vlog ;-). Love your precious fabric make. I imagine that Hannah has hung George’s Christening bunting in his room. Hugs from Oregon!

Hi Judy welcome to the mature blonde club I’ve been in it the since I was 55 and I’m now 70 we are a very lucky club because we are still here and I greatly appreciate it. Keep on sewing it’s what keeps us sane the sewing community is a life saver ❤Robyn Australia

Hi Judi. Totally agree about the "sewjo". It really is that sometimes life gets in the way. I was a brunette and aged fifty stopped colouring my hair. I love being grey! I always enjoy your vlogs so much! Julie x

Your hair is looking fabulous ☺️ I totally agree on your thoughts about sewjo, as though I haven’t made anything for a long time I’m still keeping up with the sewing world via vlogs and podcasts. I’ve just had a lot of life stuff going on which has left me short of time my passion still remains 🥰

Totally agree about not feeling guilty about not wanting to sew, I have many hobbies and do them when I actually feel like doing them.

My sentiments exactly. Life certainly gets in the way. And we need to enjoy wearing our makes. Personally I have not managed to sew for months now. But that is fine. Hope you are enjoying the Ally Pally. Congratulations to George on the occasion of his christening .

Love your take on not sewing. I’m having a break from garment sewing just now, working in a quilt and doing some knitting too. I think it all comes in cycles.

Love this video! I went yesterday with my wonderful S Wales sewing girls to Ally Pally and loved it. First visit - it was a bit frenetic at first but it did calm down [or I did] - good idea to have a tea break and a lunch break! Bought from Sew Different, Roy’s, Higgs and Higgs and Rosenberg - gorgeous! Have a wonderful time - i said hi to Sam (Sparkles) and would have done same to you if you’d been there! Xxx ❤

Hi Judi. I love to sew, but over the last year it has been put on the back burner as I focus on other more pressing matters. I look forward to dusting off my machine soon and return to some calm creative time. Your precious fabric jacket was a perfect choice ❤
